Dante, an apostle for the evil god #$^#%@, kneeled on the collapsed floor of a once-beautiful building, surrounded by the ruins of what was once a prosperous city. He was coughing up blood, his body battered and broken from the battle that had just ended.

Looking around, he saw nothing but destruction and smiled in a rather self mockingly manner, reminiscing about how he had achieved it all. He had worked tirelessly for years to achieve his goal, using any means necessary to gain power and control over the people of this world.

But now, as he kneeled before dying, he realized that he had been wrong. He had become consumed by his desire for power and had lost sight of what was truly important in his life, savoring that power.

Snapping back to reality, he looked up. He saw the hero of the world standing before him, sword drawn and pointed at his neck.

"Why?... Why did you do this Dante!" the hero questioned as his vision swam, looking at the destruction his supposed friend caused, his voice filled with anger. He repeated it when he didn't get a response from Dante, this time applying a bit of force onto Dante's neck with his sword.

This caused Dante to wake up from his stupor due to the icy texture of the sword's touch causing him to laugh, a deep, guttural sound that echoed through the empty halls of the ruined building.

"It was the only option!...and even if there was another choice, it's too late to fix it now!!," he said, his voice filling the room, causing whatever remained of the building to fall to the ground.

With a swift motion, the hero raised his sword in his momentary anger, preparing to strike the final blow that would end Dante's life once and for all.*Swing**Dooof* At that moment, Dante's view began to flip upside down, and he felt his body growing lighter and lighter.

His last sight was the beautiful ruined city covered by the almost red sunset.

When he opened his eyes, he was no longer in the ruined city, surrounded by destruction and chaos. Instead, he found himself lying in his childhood bedroom, the same room he had occupied over ten years ago.

With a sense of determination, Dante rose to his feet and walked over to the window, looking out at the world beyond. Looking outside the window, if anyone ever saw his back figure, they would have a hard time understanding how an 18-year-old has such an aura filled with experience and wear from countless years.

Thinking back to the past, he knew that he had a long road ahead of him, filled with challenges and obstacles that he would need to overcome. But he was ready to face them, armed with the knowledge of his mistakes and the desire to make things right, and this time only for himself.

As he looked out at the world, he knew that he would never be the same again. He received a second chance, and he was determined to make the most of it. This time he was going to make the world burn and any being that would try to stop him die.
