His white hair and white suit made him look like an angel. “My name is Zeke, I am in charge of your afterlife.” “It’s nice to meet you, sir.” He smiled at my polite response. “You’ve lived a very noble life, Xerxes. I was very proud of your accomplishments. So I have decided to use my power to reward you.” His statements shocked me and my expression revealed my surprise, so he continued to explain. “My power is called, Hero, it allows me to give you a chance to live your life to the fullest, so when you once again pass you’ll have no regrets as you did in this life.” “No regrets? That sounds too good to be true sir.” I was doubtful, this was an amazing offer but I was worried about any consequences. The man seemed to understand my concern because he began to explain further, “You would have three free wishes to make about your next life, any further wishes would cost you depending on what you ask for the price may be high or low. You would enter a world of adventure and be required to be a hero, as my power is aptly named.” “I enter a world and have to be a hero, which I don’t mind at all because I would be saving people again. I get three free wishes but any more would have to cost me. Is that all sir?” My manners seemed to amuse him because he smiled a bit more every time I said, sir. It’s a habit though from growing up as an orphan. “Yes. That covers it all. Would you like to spin this wheel to see which world you enter?” A wheel with multiple symbols appeared to the side of the man. A trident, a golden gauntlet, a black bat, a kunai, a straw hat, and a lightning bolt. The wheel spun automatically and kept spinning until it slowed to a stop and landed on the lightning bolt. “Congratulations Xerxes, you’ve been given the Harry Potter world!” Huh. You mean that world with the mass murderer and the extremely bigoted society… “Shit.” The only thing that came out of my mouth.

Ara wanted to fume At him when he kept on interrupting her again and again. 'He thinks I'm disgusting, after I risked my life to save him? What an arrogant pompous Prince!' Despite her anger boiling beneath the surface, she said in a calm voice. "Can you please just listen to me first?" __ Excerpt 'Without Arabella...Hamon is nothing.' 'Die? How will you die when I'll be here to bring you back? Not even death can take you away from me, wife.' 'If anything happens to you...I will ruin the entire world!' Memories of his words to his wife began to echo in his head, then images of her smiling face. And what she said earlier. 'If you tell me to split up with you again, I'll get very mad at you. And I won't allow you hold me to sleep tonight!' 'Hamon, I'll be dead before I leave your side, I am your wife and once your soldier, I am not a coward. I am staying by your side!' Hamon sat frozen on the cold forest ground as he held Ara's dead body in his arms. There was no longer any signs of tears in his eyes, all that was left was a pair of soulless eyes. He slowly glanced down at her pale lifeless face, the reality began to sink to his mind. His wife was dead, Ara was dead... She died saving him, taking the arrows meant for him. As those thoughts went through his mind, his face slowly began to darken, like cloudy storms of an incoming typhoon that could tear the skies and the earth apart, gradually his forearms veins started to turn purple and it spread to his neck veins and forehead. He pulled away from Ara's body and stood to his feet. Eyes as red as blood, claws long and sharp pierced through his fingers cutting his skin, but he didn't so much as flinch as the blood dripped from them. Purple dark veins appeared on his face as his sharp fangs peeked out of his clenched lips. There the Demon stood with flames blazing in his hands, it looked nothing like Hamon. Just his soulless eyes were enough to make one crawl away in fright. __ Note: this book is a slow burn romance, and there's no major tragedy. You can also check out my other book. A fearsome individual called Ash Von de Grey had been in a real serious predicament after his last stunt. As he needed to come up with a solution, he decided to go for deceiving and earn the trust of others. His plans for the future were involved with many crimes; arson, theft, fraud and even murder. However, he wasn’t doing this for no reason of course as his ultimate goal was surprisingly to live a peaceful life without too much trouble. As the celestials awaken, numerable era defining events keep happening, and Netan seems to be at the epicenter of all of them. Is the cause of this simply chance? Is it his gifts? Or is it perhaps his unknown origin?
