Rapid expansion

The battle was fierce and over a hundred thousand imperial troops perished for their nation. The emperor sat on his bed with a look of sadness in his eyes as he looked at the names of those who died in battle. White bandages wrapped around his Body and he drank from his fancy mug.

Outside in the city the atmosphere was dark and gloomy as many families grieved for their loved ones. all 7 branches took time to mourn but the devourers did not. An army of excavators was deployed to the now barren front and mass excavation of the land was underway for the emperor ordered the entire outer wall to he Quadrupled in size and firepower. He also ordered the construction of hundreds of Mega Fortresses surrounding the outer wall. Existing Fortresses linked to the wall already were also being upgraded 10fold into Giga Fortresses which when completed would Dwarf the mountains around them. Across the Empire the original mega Factory Fortresses were completed and began to pump out planes. 100 Additional factory forts were ordered to be constructed around the land as well to further cement the Imperium's control over the region. Hundreds of thousands of watch towers began to be built across the border of the Imperium to help signal when danger came to the Imperium.

Julian Sanchez went into Seclusion within his house and committed himself to rank up all 3 main production skills to Mastery before coming out of Seclusion. a Long 10 years passed by and nothing of importance happened. The demons who bragged about sending troops to the Imperium lied to scare Julian as not a single Demon crossed the border in these 10 years he spent in Seclusion. As he looked around the bustling city the sounds of trucks and machines engulfed his ears, to most this sound was annoying but to him it was the sweet sound of progress. Recent news brought to him from the Zavalla empire worried him slightly but with the might he now controlled such a threat was minuscule. His population was reaching 7 billion and his army could blot out the sun with their sheer numbers. His matter value stockpile was nearing a single quintillion and his matter value cost was more than 500 trillion a day but compared to the 4 Quadrillion M.V. gained each day it was nothing.

Julian spent most of the time consolidating his mind and training his body using the drunk God Style to the point that he could masterfully use the Warhammer without activating the skill at all.

Once he reached the master rank in blacksmithing he hoped to mass produce legendary weapons but the energy requirements for even a low grade legendary weapon was a years worth of electricity so on the 3rd year when he reached Mastery he ordered the construction of Hundreds of nuclear power plants in the cavern below. They took a while to construct so Julian was only able to make 12 low grade legendary weapons. The medium and high grade along with peak Legendary weapons required ridiculously rare materials as well as an amount of electricity that would take decades to aquire. Alchemy and arrays/runes were the same but he was mostly stopped by the material requirements on those skills. spiritual herbs couldn't be reproduced by the system but seeds could so he has to wait for them to grow naturally in his artificial environment around the city. Heavenly grade weapons and armor on the other hand were mass produced enmass and the entire Army was equipped with a full set of peak Heavenly grade armor along side a peak Heavenly grade weapon of their choosing. Heavy bolters were loved by body cultivators and Qi cultivators preferred the small pistols and sub machine guns as well as their main sword.

Over the Years Ruby visited isvan and was the only one allowed to meet with Julian besides high-ranking officials and of course sir William. The raknids in the Seven Sun's territory mostly attacked the elves but often they sent small armies to the zavalla land and gave the soldiers a lot of trouble. Julian provided a lot of aid during this time consisting of medical pills and plenty of earth grade weapons. The personal relationship between Julian and Ruby deepened and Ruby became the only person alive who was allowed to call Julian by his name. The crushing pressure that Julian experienced everyday disappeared the moments he spent with Ruby. Their relationship became public and many people in both empires called for the two to be married and bring the Two empires further together. Since they both were happy together Julian agreed and the marriage was set for the first day of spring next year in the border City of Nanashak which had grown to become the richest and grandest city apart from the royal capital and Isvan.

Soon he would marry Ruby and with the nobles on his side from his lucrative trade deals taking over the empire as a whole wouldn't be too hard of a task. The current emperor was still in Seclusion so he wouldn't be present for a while. Either he stops his Seclusion early and opposes Julian as a peak profound expert which Julian can handle or he breaks through and opposes Julian as a golden immortal. While he was not sure if he could defeat a golden immortal he was certain of one fact. Once the empire was declared his he could use his psychic power to defend the empire from the former emperor and technically not break his oath. The only wildcard was Venerable Alex, he was allies with him currently but he was unsure what he would do if he tried taking over the empire he protected. This further increased his desire for the marriage as he figured once he became the old man's son in law he could convince Alex he was a suitable heir to the throne.

The two princes weren't even comparable to his influence and renown within the zavalla empire.

The door opened an a handsome man in his twenties walked through the door. His fiery red hair flowed down to his elbows and a red sword hung at his waist. During these ten years Noah grew up and chose to keep his body at the age of 25 becuase he liked the way he looked at this age. His cultivation was nearing the Profound Immortal realm and he had nearly mastered his fire Constitution within his body which made him the fiercest fire Swordsman in the entire human race. His prowess earned him the nickname Fire God or God of fire.

" What brings you here today Noah "

Julian had the mind of a 30 year old but still possessed a body of a 21 year old which made him look like the younger of the two.

" I've come to report on my mission to The Souless Forest Forbidden zone. We lost a single Ascension grade expert to a sneak attack from a Rank 8 Spirtiual Yiger, we managed to kill it and found the Spiritual herbs you needed in its lair. They have already been transported to the fields and are now being planted in the empty patch you prepared for them. We also came across a Rank 7 and rank 8 pair of Fire Wyverns so I killed them and now I plan to go into Seclusion and hopefully use the rank 7 to break through to the Profound Immortal realm. I will save the rank 8 for when I break through to the Golden Immortal stage in the far future. "

" Yes she has and I grabbed a more advance earth type technique from the library for her as well as a couple Earth grade Techniques. She has recently married the young master of the Divine White Tiger sect so she is also busy learning the sects Techniques. "

Julian poured a cup of a new alcoholic beverage he had made for himself called Crystal Lava which when drunk by others was equivalent to an expert grade spirit stone. Noahs eyes shined at the beverage and he smiled brighter than the sun. Ever since his master produced this beverage he visited as frequently as he could and to his delight each time he arrived Julian offered a Mugs worth to him.

Noah drank the cup and a sense of overwhelming relief flowed over his body. Noah had dabbled in body Cultivation a bit due to his influx of cultivation resources but his body was nowhere near the level of Julian's. Crystal lavas main purpose was that of an Immortal liquor made to intoxicate even the most powerful of individuals. Noah benefitted greatly from drinking it but afterwards he had to be carried out by several of his friends waiting outside.

Julian drank the mug he poured for himself and watched Noah get carried off into the distance. His first disciple Noah baker and his second diciple Emily baker were both prodigies rivaled only by the Golden sects heirs. The greatest of the Golden sects heirs was Hunar basu who 5 years ago met and fell in love with Emily baker. In only 10 years time Hunar basu surpassed Julian's current Profound Immortal stage 4 rank and Rose to Profound Immortal stage 7 becoming the 7th strongest cultivator in the empire beneath the machine lord's, city lord William and Julian The God Emperor Of man. Due to Emilies connection with Hunar basu Noah become best friends with him and the Imperium and The Divine White Tiger sect became closer.

Before he knew it the entire mug was empty and he put it down. He disappeared from place and appeared in a small room in the cavern below. 5 years in when most of the reactors were completed he achieved and achievement and gained a unique ability, [ Bio Alchemy ] by using radiation he could modify Living beings however he wished.

The room he was in had pipes that pumped in nuclear waste, when his body was completely submerged in the nuclear waste he quickly absorbed the radiation held within and the rest was pumped out into a mass converter. This process repeated until the Stockpile of Nuclear waste was gone. The entire process was uncomfortable for Julian but he bore with it with a dream in his mind, his own super soldiers. He experimented with the Wolves that were being bred in his Army and made so much progress that he felt he was ready to use it on a willing human subject. Thankfully he already had one prepared.
