Chapter 1

To think I would live for over 3000 years in this world just to die like this... Looking at the army of a million strong in front of me and feeling the pain coming from my chest, I knew my death was near. After all, being the strongest demon king I am, even I cannot live against a siege such as this.

Not to mention, this pesky hero with his holy element and holy sword, completely suppressing my powers with those two abilities of his, how could I of lost this fight so miserably if not for him? Even if I would of died, I could of at least took 80% of this army with me!

But no! Due to this damn hero's existence, I only managed to kill 10% of this army! A mere 10%! Me, the strongest demon king in the past 3000 years, died due to a child who has been here for less than a damn year!

Thinking back to when I was just summoned to this world from Earth all those years ago, who would of thought I would turn out to be a demon king in the end? It is truly laughable at how I thought I could of been one of these hero's, like the one in front of me at that time.

I could see the cheering coming from the army and the hero while my vision began to darken, notifying me of my death that is to come momentarily. I look down at the hole in my chest, created by the hero's holy sword.

Due to the immense holy element within his sword, my immortal body is like a joke. Ah, as expected, one cannot become a supreme existence in the world alone. I really regret pushing away everybody from my past now...

Well, maybe I will see them again for the last time once I go to hell? Haha, how laughable it is. I wonder if hell will even accept someone as dangerous as me? Kukuku, just imagining the look on their faces when I go there will be interesting.

Ah, is it time? My vision is completely darkened now, and I can barely feel anything as my body becomes colder and colder while my mind becomes more and more blank. I smile bitterly one more time before I officially take my last breath in this world.

Hearing the voices coming from around me, I subconsciously open my eyes and look around, wondering if I am in hell yet. But, when I look around after opening my eyes, what I see complete stuns me in place.

'This... Isn't this the place I was summoned to over 3000 years ago?! How am I suddenly here now?'

Looking around more, I notice that I am wearing a uniform that I wore when I was in school all those years ago, when I was merely 16! Also, the rest of the people from my class who were summoned with me back then are also here.

What is this?! Did I go back in time or something? Impossible! Going back in time is not something that is possible! Even I, who was hailed as the strongest person in the world, wasn't able to control time even slightly! My mind was still dazed when I heard someone speaking up loudly.

"Please stop screaming, Heroes! I am the current King of the Azetom Kingdom, Nangong Bai! We have summoned you from your home world to help us defeat the evil Demon King who is plaguing these lands!"

'Are you kidding me? Isn't this the exact same words that this old bastard said all those years ago as well? Did I truly go back in time, or is this a vision of my past after dying?'

Everyone stopped panicking one we heard the king speak, I was just not interested in talking until I figured out what happened but everyone else was just shocked at the sudden declaration by him, wondering if it is true or not.

"I am sure you are all confused, but this is reality! You have all been truly summoned to this world of mine, in hope of your assistance in defeating the Demon King and restoring peace to these lands once again!"

'Che, lying bastard! You and some other kings are just greedy bastards who are after the treasures of the demon king, which is why you summoned us. Heck, I still can't believe my past self was so stupid to believe in this old fart.'

Yeah, my past self. I just confirmed that this is indeed the past, and the reason for me being so sure is due to my system notifications that I just checked, telling me what exactly had happened that caused me to come back in time like this.

'Still, I can't believe that my whole past life for over 3000 years was just a mere tutorial.... Is this why it was so easy for me to be killed in the final fight against that hero? Even though he had a powerful holy sword, it still shouldn't of killed me so easily like that...'

One of the guys from the group of summoned people asked. I think his name was Qin Shi or something? I can't really remember as it has been much too long of a time since I had seen these people from Earth.

"Naturally! Once the Demon King has been defeated, each and every one of you will be able to return back to your world with assistance of one of the Demon King's treasures!"

'Another lie. After we killed the Demon King, these bastard kings killed every single one of us expect for 4 of us, and they only kept us alive due to our rare abilities at the time, me being one of them being kept alive. Even then, we were just slaves until I managed to escape.'

"Then, we will assist you in killing the Demon King! Not just to return back to your world, but also to protect the peace of this world!"

Qin Shi or whatever says loudly, and the others from the class echo him in agreement. I nearly forgot that this brat was like a class leader back on Earth, always having the trust of everybody and being able to easily manipulate them, even I was included in this in the past.

"Thank you! As the King of the Azetom Kingdom, I hereby thank you on behalf of all of the citizens of my Kingdom! Thank you for your assistance!"

He says as he bows his head, but I notice the crafty and evil look in his eyes as he bows his head, making me even more disgusted with him than I was before. Sure, I was a demon king in my past life for 3000 years, but I didn't bother doing shadowy shit like this guy does and did everything in the open.

"Now then, each inhabitant of this world has a Status Screen that they are capable of checking at all times, that is also only visible to them. Please say or think 'Status' to open yours, and then plesae correctly tell the Archmage your information so we can compile a perfect training plan for you all!"

'More like so you can find who is the strongest of us so you can control them to do your bidding. Well, I might as well see if it changed from my past life or not. Status.'

'What! What the heck?! In my last life, I only had Flame Magic at this time! Why are all of the magic I learned in my last life here?! Also, why are my Spirit and Willpower both at SSS?! Heck, I can't even see what my luck is? Also, why do I have a title?'

'Can I unseal it at any time by dealing with the pain?'

Hearing that, I was excited. After all, it takes too long to hit level 100, and by unsealing my Demon blood I can increase my strength greatly. As for the soul crushing pain? Hah! I dealt with soul crushing pain many times in my last life from holy magicians and warriors.

"Oh! You are unexpectedly a Hero! Great, with you, we can kill the Demon King even easier!"

A commotion was created over near the place where we are supposed to tell the Archmage about our status's. Apparently someone was a Hero, which I nearly forgot about. that Qin Shi guy or whatever his name is was the Hero of this summoning.

Being a Hero at the start apparently gave him a massive boost in his stats, directly raising everything to E rank, I think. For stats, the rankings are: G, F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, X, XX, XXX, Z, ZZ, ZZZ, I, II, III, L, LL, LLL, V, VV, VVV, T, TT, TTT and finally Y, YY, YYY. Each rank also has a + and - part to them as well, for a total of 3 stages per rank.

Even in my past life where I was the strongest person on this world, my stats all maxed out at XXX, unable to enter Z at all. Maybe that was the fault of the tutorial, which I hope is the case since I would need stronger stats than XXX to live my life in this world for a long time.

"You, it is your turn to show us your Status. Please come forward."

The Archmage points at me, and I am most likely the final person to show their status. If someone reaches the Archmage rank in Illusion Magic, it is easy to show the status of somebody. Naturally, that person has to be willing.

Since I already had a plan to deceive them, I walked up calmly and let the Archmage do his thing. After a few minutes, a transparent screen appeared in front of everybody, allowing them to see the fake status I created for them.

'No shit, buddy. I was THE strongest magician in the future, thank you very much.'

My fake status caused a commotion equal to that of the Hero commotion from earlier, which is to be expected. For a newly summoned magician to have an A rank and B rank in Magic and Spirit is extremely rare.

After the commotion died down, the king had some people lead us to our rooms where we will rest for a while until dinner is to be served later, so we can get used to this world and so on. I don't care much about this since I will be leaving this Kingdom soon anyways to head to the Demon Realm.

After all, being a Demon King in my last life, I am the most comfortable being inside the Demon Realm rather than these human Kingdoms where the holy element is always around, making me uncomfortable all the time.

Thankfully my Demon blood is still sealed, or else I would be feeling slight pain on my soul at all times with this stupid holy element everywhere. Human Kingdoms are filled with holy element due to them worshiping the Holy Goddess, which in turn blesses their Kingdoms with holy element that increases plot growth and so on.

Since there are still a few hours until the dinner starts, I decide to simply take sleep for now since I am mentally tired. After all, I had just died over an hour ago and then came back in time by 3000 years, so it would be natural I would be mentally tired. Laying on the bed in my provided room, I let out a faint sigh and close my eyes to rest.
