A young assistant in his early 20s runs down to his boss who was the manager of the company

"We can't seem to shut down the game sir"

"Why is that? What's wrong?"

"Sir the servers automatically shut down over two hours ago. But something is wrong, the game is still getting more lines of code, the story is progressing on it's own"

"How could this be happening…Have you asked all our outside developers? Merger partners, Freelancers, Anyone that could somehow access the code!?"

"Sir we reached out to everyone, Besides, before the game shut down we made sure we were the only ones with access…Sir, We investigated the player that was taken into the game…He hasn't returned ever since "

"He is changing things…He is gaining control to the game"

"We need to put a stop to this"

"Get a phone, we need to make a few calls"

{Presently, In the world of loracraft}

It's been 6 days since I entered this game and became the final boss of this world

Since then,

They found out Eris was alive

I said zetsar before I struck her. I assumed that you just needed one person to be under zetsar to prevent death,

I needed a reason for them to get out of the castle as soon as possible without killing anyone.

So of course I had to take the risk on a tier 4 healer, Naturally her regeneration abilities should be unmatched

Ralph has launched several missions against me, each one being more unsuccessful than the last

Conroy apparently had an enchantment that allowed him to playback his memories in perfect detail

He is using that to study how I used the sword

Checking if there are any counters to me or the sword

It won't take long before he puts two and two together and finds out the right amount of pure mana to damage me

I have taken over the mansion of cthulos. Redecorated it to my taste, all the corpses were returned to the family of the deceased

Some who had no family what so ever to be linked to were turned to skeleton knights. Giving basic protection to the castle when I wasn't around

But I kept the great hall the way it was, Every demon lord needs a showdown hall

Only this time i added a tiny little detail…..I gave myself a luxurious throne, I found it more menacing

*HISS!*

"Got you! Why have these things been so much lately"…

I planted animal informants round the town to see what was going on through their eyes, but they were always getting killed by other adventurers who could sense my mana in it

Or just random old men like this one who just killed another of my snakes!

Creation magic isn't cheap man! That took a butt load of pure mana!

Still, I couldn't rely on critters, I needed a little bit of assistance

I needed to improve my surveillance, a proper right hand man to assist me in these matters

Every demon lord needs a butler

There were very few contenders but I knew who I wanted.

I teleported to the field of wanderers

A giant field of tall grass with a permanent sunset and calm wind

In the game it was a nice prank by the developers

If you didn't have any direction or you just acted confused by going all over the map with no stopping point, you would automatically be teleported here for a while

In the lore, anyone who didn't belong anywhere particularly and wandered around a lot would always wind up here no matter what, no matter the direction or turn you take…it was magic

I walked around and felt the tall grass on my fingers

The calm wind blowing against me

The perfect everlasting sunset

It was almost like paradise

While frolicking in the fields, I heard a big pile of glasses move

I teleported to it and saw an unkept man kind of dressed like a cowboy but with a big robe over him, rolling and sleeping in a pile of beer jugs

I tried to kick his legs but he raised them up, perfectly anticipating it

I couldn't help but chuckle because I had just found another old friend

"Cariot!"

He rolled around in the pile of beer jugs even more making a sour face

Im so sorry a demon lord was interrupting your sleep?

I got on one knee and tried tapping his head but everytime my hand got close he simply shifted his head towards the opposite direction, once again calmly anticipating my moves

"Listen to me, guide"

He grinned his teeth and took his body up with his eyes still closed

"Fine! But first, you need to take me to a bar"

"I am not really sure I can take you-"

"Bup bup bup, me and you know you can and I know, you will"

Should have made more friends before this villain thing

I grabbed his clothes and teleported us to a bar outside of loris

I initially teleported everyone one who was in it back home…except the bartender and he looked rather scared

But after a while he stopped quaking his boots in my sight and noticed the drunk smiling cariot

"You ripper! Get out-"

"Get out of my damn bar you drunk!I never want to see you again! Blah blah sure, I'll skip ahead and grab myself a drink"

The bartender was going to scream at cariot some more till i grabbed his shoulder and calmly told him

"Why not pour us a couple of drinks"

He went behind the bar giving a nasty stare at cariot who was already helping himself to a giant jug of beer

I went over to sit beside cariot

"Cariot, stop acting like you don't know what I'm here for"

"Ahh yes, you came to me to buy a drink"

Cariot scoffed as he took down another jug of beer

" I came to you because of your ability, guide. You see I know things, things that were mentioned. Their strongest attack, their birthdays"

"Things the developers mention….But there is more to more to that, they are alive, they have favorite foods and bad habits, Things I don't know but you do. And I will also need someone by my side to tell me every move they make, I don't just want to be the king piece on the chessboard, I want to be the player of both sides"

Cariot scoffed as he said

"My reputation precedes me Soma...what ability is that?"

"You are omniscient, cariot"

Cariot is the game's guide. You know that guy that spawns with you and give you tips on some other characters,reciting every crafting recipe, "okay" tactics to taking out bosses and had broad knowledge on everyone in the game

Weirdly he was a drunk in the game too as his catchphrase was always related to booze

In the game lore, It was said that he was fond of telling people their prophecies. At first they would love it and praise him, but sometimes it would be false and a lie to the wrong person has its consequences

This caused him to be exiled frequently from any town he tried to settle in and left wandering around with no home, no place to belong to.

So after you make your base, he would crash with you

"I know everything to know about the game, that is true"

"But omniscience….Please don't make me laugh soma"

"I know what has happened, what is happening but not what is to happen"

Was he already drunk?

Strangest way to explain but I think he's trying to tell me he knows the past and present….but not the future

The villages exiled him for false prophecies, which means he can tell, but not accurately

Cariot the guide would be an excellent addition

He wouldn't just be giving me strategies but instead he'll be giving exactly what I needed to win, that is if it ever got to that

"Still guide cariot, I would want you on my team"

Cariot finished that jug of beer, he reached over the counter to get another one but couldn't find anything

So he got up, went to the other side and completely broke a board on the floor and pulled out another jug

I guess there is no use keeping secrets from this guy

And once again the bartender was making nasty faces

"You are currently the most feared man in the world, why should I work with you"

"And you are the second, so why shouldn't you? You have no where to go, you were given a gift to make anyone who accepts you powerful, They can't see that….I can"

He didn't seem interested, he kept on drinking the beer, until I looked deeper

The best way to make someone solve your problem, is to let them know they'll be solving their problem as well

"What if I take away your omniscience"

For the first time in an hour, he dropped the beer

"What did you say?"

"One day, this will be more than a game. The power that I would have acquired would be unimaginable. Once it is, I will make you human, normal, a man worthy of being belonged"

"I will restore your relationship with everyone that chased you, I will make you loved"

He got up and started pacing round the bar

"I can only achieve this with your help"

He got up to me and looked me in the straight in the eye

"Will there be beer?"

So I snapped my fingers and 10 jugs appeared

"I have a tier 5 brewery enchantment"

"Tsk, I was sentient on the servers as well soma, I always knew you were my favorite player"

I wasn't lying when I said I could take away his omniscience

It was part of a plan, a rather long term plan

Where everyone's wishes would be granted.

Hopefully, a bloodless one

Cariot followed me back to the castle, he got his tuxedo and even put on glasses.

He got the skeleton knights into better shape

I mean they even cooked and cleaned now

He cleaned himself up a bit, He got glasses, and kept his hair better….His facial hair was still a mess though

We had eyes on everyone in loris, conroy might've gotten a breakthrough, Eris was finally awake…But refused to talk or eat

As for Ralph….

*BOOM!*

Ughhh

There is no day he doesn't attempt to defeat me

Today he came smashing through the castle with many of my skeleton knights lying in the path of his rage

"Ralph"

I could see the rage in his eyes, I almost killed eris to push them out of here and now she that she is awake….she's depressed

I stopped my skeleton knights from attacking him and pried off the ones that died with a sword on his back and arms on his ankle

He limped to my face

"You have no motive, No true reason as to why you make us suffer. I came here alone to ask you, what are you planning…hero"

I scoffed as I healed him, giving a whole hearted smile and placing my hands on his shoulders…

"Liberation"

I used my hand to slash his chest

Just then cariot teleported to my side with a towel to clean the blood

Ralph's eyes widened in shock

I could imagine, I alone was an army but with such a man on my side…their chances became less than zero

As I teleported Ralph away I gave him a map

"Come here when you can put up a fight"

As he put pressure on his wound, His face full of fright at the sight of loris's new ruler.
