51. My grandfather was the king of ...

Using my mom's hairpin which I got from the jewelry box in the cupboard in my dad's room, I went to the past. To be precise, when mommy came to see daddy this afternoon. 

By standing in the same place when the incident took place, I was sure I could leave just when the new mommy arrived. Well, this is just a simple theory of mine that just occurred to me, so I gave it a try.

Instantly, the dark night view I saw changed to a clear sky view during the day and I was right under the maple tree. 

My magic theory seems to be working. But I'm not too happy about this because there are other things that replace my happiness. That is because I am now standing between mommy and daddy!.

The sight I saw was a country that looked very different from Yevonia. There are many buildings that are three times larger than the buildings in the land of Yevonia. The buildings in this country look very sturdy and tower proudly into the sky. There are many towers that are also very, very high through the clouds!. They looked like pillars supporting the sky. 

But I am very amazed by a building that is much more magnificent standing in this country. The building looks like the temple building in the country of Yevonia, only its size is five times larger than the temple and three times larger than the palace. The building doesn't look like it was built for humans. 

Suddenly I remembered the ruins I had seen. Right!. This building has a similar architecture to those ruins!. It is in the shape of square boxes stacked on top of each other like forming a tower and this looks unreasonable if it has to be said that it was built by humans. 

OK, that's enough to be amazed. What place is this?. Why did you go here?. And what exactly is this huge building?. 

I was very curious because mommy kept walking towards the big building. What should I call that big building? Temple Palace?. Well, that makes sense. 

I continued to follow Mommy into this temple palace and as soon as I was near the entrance gate, I saw many griffins. I was surprised again after passing hundreds of stairs and once I entered this building because I saw so many Baskervilles and Cerberus standing like palace guards along the entrance hall. 

They all look scary. I didn't even see the magical chains that tied their necks and that indicated that they weren't totems. But why can they act like this as if they are obeying someone without needing that person to make a contract with all of them!. 

Which human can make all these scary sacred animals obey him without binding a contract?!. Isn't he afraid of being attacked by them?!. After all, if you think about it, no human would be able to enter into a totem contract for that amount. 

Well, at least for me. I am grateful because my existence at this time is like a ghost. They won't notice my presence and won't attack me. 

But. Why is mommy here!?. What do you want to do in a place like this?!. 

Since then, Mommy has been walking without the slightest fear of all these sacred animals. What happened was just the opposite. They all seemed to always bow when their mommy passed them as if they were respecting their mommy. It couldn't be that mommy was the one who made all these scary sacred animals submit to her, right?!.

"With reverence, Your Majesty. With full regret. I lost track of the Voltia Spirit..." answered my mommy after she sat respectfully and lowered her head in front of the throne chair which was occupied by a man whose face I could not see because it was blocked by the curtains that covered him. 

"Oh, I see. Looks like you have to sacrifice a lot of time. If only Orazion didn't give his time magic to random humans. We can definitely use it to capture the Spirit of Voltia..." said the figure again. From his voice, it seemed like he was annoyed. But I became interested in hearing this conversation when he mentioned the name Orazion. 

Enzi also brought up the name of the troublesome demon at that time when fighting with His Highness Yvone. 

"So?. How about your family?. You've said your goodbyes to them, right?" said the figure again. 

"Yes. As you command, Your Majesty..." 

"Good. Then I will keep my promise not to disturb their peace. Especially your daughter... ah, I mean my granddaughter. He has the blood of our clan. It would be a shame if I had to kill her, right?.
