Jealous Heart

"Melodies POV" After taking a nap, I woke up to the sounds of screeching and yelling. I wanted dad, So I called out for him as loud as I could. I heard big Thundering Footsteps running towards the room. Dad nearly tore the door off its hinges trying to get into the room. I giggled at the sight of him, He was covered in Hot Pink Paint and confetti layered him from head to toe. I held my arms out wanting to be picked up by daddy. "Ironhide's POV" After being pranked by Skids and Mudflaps all morning, All I wanted to do was relax and snuggle with Melody in my arms. When I heard the sounds of crying come from my room, My mind instantly started racing, What if she's in danger and I'm not there to protect her. I quickly sprinted to my room and nearly destroyed the door by throwing it open so hard, I looked around for any intruders or Decepticons that might have gotten past the perimeter. I then heard giggling come from underneath the blanket that was laying on the bed. Just as I was about to pull the blanket off of her, Melody popped her head out and shouted Boo. There's my little baby girl, I scooped her up in a loving embrace and planted a kiss on her head. After cuddling and hugging her, I held her against my chest and walked out of the room with her. I was greeted by Ratchet and Optimus who had his daughter as well. "Ratchet's POV" As I spoke to Optimus who was cradling his two year old daughter in his arms while trying to feed her formula in a bottle and have a conversation with me all at the same time, I heard Ironhide walk in from behind me carrying a screaming child in his arms. "Ironhide's POV" As I walked towards Ratchet's lab with Melody sitting on my shoulder, I was greeted by Chromia, a former member of Elita 1's Tactical Unit back on Cybertron and my current Sparkmate. "Chromia's POV" After getting cleaned up from being on a mission, I noticed Ironhide on his way to talk to Ratchet; I sped up beside him and asked if he wanted to train with me on the shooting range. He politely declined the offer though, Saying he had to take his daughter to get her routine check up in Rachets Lab. "Ironhide's POV" I quickly reached the medical room and pounded my fist against the door, resulting in a few large dents in the metal. "Ratchet's POV" As I finished setting up the Medical Equipment, I heard what sounded like someeone trying to break the entrance in with their fist. When Ironhide was done destroying the entrance to my lab, I stepped aside and let him walk past me. Lay her down on the table and we can get this over with as quickly as possible. "Ironhide's POV" I watched as Ratchet checked over my daughter, scanning her small body making sure she wasn't sick or diseased. "Ratchet's POV" For the last step, She's going to need her immunizations and get a temperature check, Avery went through the same thing So there's no need to worry. I'm going to need you hold her legs down and Bumblebee is going to hold her arms down. I rubbed alcohol on her skin and injected the girl with all three shots in the backside. After the medical examination, I knew I had to try and cheer Melody up, So I gave her a booklet of sparkly stickers, Some markers and a coloring book to draw with if she ever got bored. She smiled and waved to me as Ironhide carried her outside. "Ironhide's POV" I'm glad that Melodies check up is done, I will never get used to hearing my little girl cry her eyes out. As I pondered in my thoughts, I didn't notice Chromia sneaking up behind me ready to envelope me in a hug. I felt her arms wrap around my waist and her lips meeting my lips in a much needed embrace. We stood there and kissed for a solid 10 minutes, Until I heard angry cries coming from my arms, I looked down and saw that Melody had somehow crawled out of my arms when I wasn't looking and climbed all the way down to the floor. I was shocked at first, Then I watched as Chromia bent down and tried to interact with my daughter. "Melodies POV" I got angry when I noticed dad kissing that strange lady, So I walked over to where she was sitting and blew a raspberry at her. You can't have my dad, He's all mine and I don't want to share him. When the strange lady offered me a stuffed animal as a peace offering, I slowly reached my hand out and took it from her fingers.
