As Raven turned to face Duke Rezian, a myriad of emotions danced in his eyes.

The Duke, covered in sweat from his desperate plea, awaited Raven's response with bated breath. The room was filled with tense anticipation, the air heavy with the weight of unspoken possibilities.

Raven's gaze held a depth that seemed to pierce through the Duke's facade, as if looking at the reality of this man who was one of the most vile existences in this world.

As Raven stepped closer to him, the Duke was slightly scared. Although the boy looked young, he had seen how dangerous the boy could be. He didn't want to end up like his men who had died without even being able to make any noise.

The Duke clenched his fists as only half a meter of distance remained between him and Raven. He waited with baited breath, believing that the boy was going to accept his offer. Still, his eyes subconsciously closed as he waited for his fate.
