I proud of my daughter

Back in private room, Lin Xi cried silently. She was shock with news that Nick just told them. Not only her, The rest of the family were still in daze.

"Aunty, did Alice have accident when she was kid ?" Angie asked.

Lin xi wiped her tears and stared at the ceiling "I caused the accident. I think it was when she was 6. I ".

She sobbed "I kicked her. She was very skinny that time, I sent her fly and her back hit the wall"

Then, Lin Xi eyes were wilder and she shrieked "oh.. No, She often complained her head was hurt, is her head ok ? Did Nick do full check up on her ? also, is her lung fine as well ? I drowned her, she nearly did not make it".

"She will be ok. We take her to do full check up soon, Ok ?" Chairman NG coaxed his wife.

"No, I was a bad mother. I harm my own daughter. When she was born, she was very tiny, I did not care about my own diet when She was inside me"

Chairman NG hugged her and let her cried as much as she could.

"Do you think he told us the truth ?" Er Su asked.

"I'll ask him again in private"

"Don't you think you ask to much from him ? he has his own difficulty, Xinxin depend to him more than to anyone else" Old madam NG spoke up. From the past few days, she observed them closely.

"I am. But I have no other choice. Leading a big conglomerate like ours is not easy at all. Currently, None of this young generation other than him demonstrate their ability to do it"

"Are you sure that you can trust him" old madam NG asked seriously.

Chairman laughed, he had anticipated this question since the beginning.

"Do you think after what had happen, I can easly accept other to be part of my family ? I didn't. I offered him alot of material benefits but he rejected them all. The more he refused my help the more suspicious I was. This 7 years, I investigate him and his family. I did all I can to find put if they had any motives againt me. I found nothing, instead I discovered how amazing the family is. He and his brothers are wonderfull men. They did very well on their education, each of them have double degree and graduated with honour title, they had their master degree as well. They started helping their parents' fruit shop since they were very young. At 15, he worked at fast food restaurant and earned his own pocket money. When they were in uni, They studied at day time and worked at night time. Those boys were able to pay their own tuition fee. Tell me what did you all do when you were on their age ?" Chairman NG glanced at his son then nephews and his nieces.

Then, he asked Angie "Angie, am I right ?"

Angie smiled "Yes. They even gave their sisters pocket money. He, Sean and Alan are very protective to their sisters. I call him eldest brother because of Sasha. He is the leader of the siblings, they respect him".

"He know how to operate machines, forklift and he can drive big truck. Am I right ?" He asked Angie again.

"Second brother and eldest brother can. Alan can not, he loves book" Angie smiled.

"In such a young age, he was able to be a manager without any connection in the company. He was an IT vice director before he resigned and built his own business. He climbs step by step with his own hardwork. Well, he is supported by his brothers, sisters and his parents. But, he is able to made such as big decision by him self, it is something that can not be learned from formal education. He has a strong will power and self motivation. He is also a sincere guy, if he was not, he would not love and marry my daughter. Remember, when he met her and decided to marry her, My daughter was nothing then useless, penniless and homeless girl"

The rooms were turned silence.

"I really hope you are all can learn from him. I am sure that he is not greedy person at all, he will step down if any of you are capable to take the position"

The youngster nodded.

"He is actually very simple man. I have interacted with him for long since I regularly visit them. do You know that their house is smallest compare to ours? he refused when I offered to pay for their house. All the company that he and Xinxin owned, none of them has money from me. Xinxin boutiques are pure from his parents. I am not praising him because he is my son in law, but it is because of his own ability. To be honest, I am really proud of him, to be precisely, I proud of my daughter to be able to seduce him" Chairman NG laughed loudly. Liam snorted while others giggled.

Chairman NG was a different person form 7 years ago. His current attitude and decisions were influenced by the Feng family. If it could be explained by colour, Nick parents were white, he was black that began to change to grey.

"Xixi, after end of this year, we will spend more time with them. We will take Xinxin for medical check up, we will take this responsibility away from his shoulder. He has done more than we did to her. I hope, you two as elders will help the youngster. And you all the younger generatio , please do your best. The company future is in your hands. I think Nick has planned something because he has delegated some of this work to Sean, Hans and Keinichi. Those young men are awesome too"

"We will do our best, bo fu" they chorused.

Lin xi was much better now, she stopped sobbing.

"Also, please treat you husband and wife dearly and choose wisely. I just realise that have some one at home who wait for you with a warm tea is better than who was glamorous. Don't expect too much from your partner, I really don't want any of you have a broken family like I do"

He inhaled a deep breath "Lets have lunch now. you all stay here tonight"
