Entangled With Different Path
They went a different path in their first step, but in their final step, they met and found themselves with the same fate.

Daryl disappeared after the accident and a month later, they found a burned body that claimed his remains. Everyone was devastated when they found out about his death.
But even with physical evidence. Deneza never believes that the body they found was Daryl's and continues to believe that he was still alive and living somewhere, so she kept looking after him.
After of several years, she found a man with the same gaze as Daryl. Even though their face, their age, the color of their eyes are totally different, she keeps saying that the man was Daryl.

EXCERPT:
"Who are you?" Deneza suddenly asked the man before her.
"Um?" The man was astonished when a woman suddenly appeared in front of him. Her arms are between his neck, trapping him as he leaned his back against the wall. He was looking down at her with his rounded eyes while she was also looking up on him attentively.
He was shocked and astounded at this woman's appearance. "Is this the greatest Kabedon?" He thought.
Deneza frowned about not getting a response from him and asked him while she was narrowing her eyes, "Why don't you answer my question?"
"Do you know me?" He asked her back nervously. “Did the woman recognise me?” he asked himself inside his mind. But that wasn't possible. He was certain no one knew who he was!
"I don't. So I ask you, who are you?” She said with an unhappy stare.
The man was speechless. He did not know whether he should respond or not.
"Daryl." She said as she looked at him attentively.
When she mentioned this name, he was astonished again. “Did this woman mistake him for this guy named Daryl?” He thought.
"My name is Ludis. English name, Louis. I'm not Daryl." He said he spoke his name to the woman before him.
"No, your name is Daryl. Daryl Carreon!" She said as she looked at him intently.
He was shocked when he heard the name, he frowned before saying, "I said I'm not! My name is Ludis! Ludis! Ludis!" Ludis said as he raises his voice. "What's wrong with this woman? Is she nuts?" He complained in his mind.
"No! You're Daryl!" Deneza said as she also raises her voice.
"I said I'm not! I'm Ludis! Ludis Ivanov!" He stated with great displeasure. He didn't want to have any more connection with this crazy woman. She even mistook him for someone whom he never meet.

Following their fateful meeting. Ludis keeps distancing himself from her and even to the point where he runs away each time he sees her.
But why would Deneza leave him? And how Ludis managed to keep running away from her like she was a plague if she kept harassing him. In fact, she broke into his house!
How would he accept her 'love' if each time she looked at him with those loving and longing eyes. He was uncomfortable and troubled because she only saw him as a replacement for the man who's already dead?
Ludis keeps getting jealous, envious of Daryl. He even wishes that he is really Daryl, which Deneza keeps saying. How did he lose against a man who's already dead? What was he supposed to do? She was bent with this guy named Daryl. He knew it perfectly, if not because of it. Deneza couldn't have bothered to look at him. Therefore, in order for her to remain with him, he did not even take the trouble to replace Daryl.
Sometimes, what's left in the end is not always what we wish for.
