The hundred ground battles (4)

Ed and the rest appeared in a grass land filled with people. It seemed it was not only those from their world that had appeared here. In fact, one could, see why this was called a battleground. The many people that had arrived were sectioned into four. From where they stood they could see that they were amongst people they recognized. They had been sectioned into worlds, a world to each pole. They stood on the south facing north.

“We have already been set for battle, it seems. We need to get to the door on the north.” Nti Anem said and Ku Jian shook her head.

“No. the door is on the east.” she said.

“Don’t argue. The battle ground gives everyone a door. This does not mean that we can’t all decide to take one. This is so you can decide to go off on your own.
