“I thought so.” Nti Anem muttered, “This is a trap.”
The group frowned at the tigers before them but did not freeze at their actions. It was obvious that they looked down on them, and it was clear why. These tigers did not at all feel dangerous to them.
“They don’t seem to care.” Ku Jian said.
“Of course not, they do not feel dangerous to them,” Nti Anem answered as though he discovered a secret.
“They seem dangerous to me.” Tie Nse said cautiously, and he was right. They were.
“The energy they are emitting. No one here can fight them. How can they not feel this?” Ku Jian asked taking small steps back.
“They gave them their energy to use as camouflage.” Nti Anem answered, glancing at those around who had gone mad from the treasures in sight, “The treasures lead them here, and keep them here.” he said.
“From before,” Ku Jian seemed to realize as she glanced at Nti Anem, “That is why you said we should not release our energy on the door?” she asked.
