Inside a glass piano room, a boy at the age of four and a half with a flawless translucent porcelain skin and a face full of baby fats can be seen playing the piano very absorbedly in it. He wore a white shirt with his head quietly lowered, his white, slender fingers flying across the black and white piano keys leaving a string of smooth, elegant sound of Ludwig's moonlight sonata music flowing out continuously from his fingertip.

After a while, the afascinating music ended and the boy raised his lowered head and looked up, he saw the dazzling sunshine and blooming flowers of different colours outside the piano room. He watched for a while since the hot dazzling sunshine doesn't affect him and smiled slightly before lowering his head again to restart a new song.

Meanwhile outside, when the music stopped, a person dressed as a butler pushed opened the glass door as if he already predicted the exact timing of when the music will stop.

He stopped before the boy preparing for a new song and placed his gloved hands on the boy's hand to stop him without saying a word, causing the boy lowering his head to look up.

Seeing the butler, the boy smiled sweetly for a minute before removing his hands from the piano key and from under the one holding his, he stood up from the piano chair, walked around the music instrument and gave his hands to the older man to hold.

Looking at how his action is carried out with familiarity, the butler smiled softly. Speaking of which, the butler can't be consider old, well, if looking at the surface with his tall and handsome frame, short black hair and red eyes wearing black trousers, a tailor coat, a vest with an insignia crest on his cuff along with a black tie. He is also wearing a pocket watch with a chained silver lapel pin bearing the Nox crest on it which is traditionally worn by the household head butler.

He looks no more than twenty but his eyes says another thing.

'The young master seems to be getting used to everything, I am glad' he thought

He is the head butler of the Nox royal vampire clan and although he looks no more than twenty, he is past several centuries already.

"Young master, it is almost time for you to start school" Sebastian said to the young child.

"Start school?" the young child asked out loud

"Yes, young master. The master wishes for you to attend the best academy for children your age starting next week" Sebastian answered more concisely this time

'master' the young child thought, he has never met this master who is supposed to be his adopted father ever since he was taken in from the orphanage a year ago which makes him almost five years old now since his birthday is coming in a month time.

He tried to ask the people in the mansion questions about his adopted father but all he got was that he is busy and that his adopted father likes him and doesn't want him to be sad.

Every time he asks with a sad face, he gets the same answer so, he decided to not ask anymore since he would meet him eventually.

Sebastian looked down at his young master and saw the sad face, he couldn't help but sigh inwardly, 'what is going on with the master? He said he wanted to adopt a child and when we finally got the child he wanted, he refuses to appear' he felt like cursing a tirade at his master for letting his young master feel like this every time his name is brought out but, he is only a servant and the head butler of only this mansion, he doesn't have enough authority.
