The rotating chairman said, "The Wallfacer Project was born out of a special historical backdrop. The rotating chairman continued to detail the plans of the five Wallfacers, declaring Tyler and Rediaz guilty, while the outcomes of Logic and Hines were deemed "disappointing."

Lian Jiangyu's plan was also deemed meaningless. The rotating chairman commented, "He did create an empire for himself, but with regard to the strategy against the Trisolarans, Wallfacer Jiang Yu's plan held no value.

"To this day, many people believe that this was an act of division among humanity, but since the Solar System Federation has also made exceptional contributions to the progress of human technology,

"therefore, on the whole, Jiang Yu's plan was beneficial to humanity but severely contradicted the original intent of the Wallfacer Project."

In conclusion, the rotating chairman said, "I hereby submit the motion."

Then came the perfunctory voting process. After the vote was concluded, the rotating chairman declared solemnly, "Proposal No. 649 is unanimously approved and comes into effect immediately.

"On behalf of the Solar System Confederation Council, I inform Wallfacer Bill Hines and Wallfacer Logic.

The meeting ended, and the delegates prepared to leave.

"Mr. Chairman, I have something to say!" The speaker was Keiko Yamasuki.

The rotating chairman said, "Ms. Keiko Yamasuki, you do not have the right to speak."

For the next twenty minutes or so, Keiko Yamasuki disclosed the entirety of Hines's Wallfacer Project.

When the delegates learned that there were four "Thoughtcontrol" devices which had not been registered with the PDC or any government department, with their locations still unknown and who had used them also unknown, they looked furiously at Hines!

The rotating chairman glared at Hines, "Dr. Hines, look at what you have done!"

Hines lifted his head, his voice steady and calm, "I admit, I underestimated the power of humanity. The progress you've made is unbelievable.

"But, Mr. Chairman, gentlemen delegates, I want to tell the world: it is impossible for me to feel remorse over this matter."

The Asian representative asked angrily, "Shouldn't you be repenting?"

Heinz looked up, "It's not that I shouldn't, It's that I can't. I've imposed a Thoughtcontrol upon myself, Its axiom is: Everything I've done in the Wallfacer Project is correct.

"Only with this belief could I summon the mental strength to carry out my plan."

Bewildered glances were exchanged among the crowd, the North American Fleet representative broke the odd silence: "Let's return to the real issue at hand.

"If there is a class or organization with an absolute belief in failureism, why haven't we seen any signs of it till now?"

The Asian Fleet representative said, "The fact that there are no signs until now is what's terrifying about it."

No one paid any more attention to Heinz, as they began to discuss how to guard against the Imprint Clan at this critical moment, four military policemen came over and escorted Heinz and Keiko Yamasuki away from the meeting.

Heinz kept his head down; he dared not look at his wife next to him, feeling that the more he looked, the further away she seemed. He was actually a little afraid of this feeling.

"Mr. Heinz, please wait a moment."

Some representatives wondered, "Why is he here?"
