What if Kylan had never met Jasmine? What if the only person he had ever had feelings for was the bastard of a brother-in-law who ignored him no matter how much he did for the man? What if, all in the name of love, Kylan would do whatever it takes for the Count to be his? ┉┈◈◉◈┈┉──────═━┈━═──────┉┈◈◉◈┈┉ This is a Alternate Universe fanfiction for the 5th arc of Better To Be A Beta by LittleBlueLake The events that happen in this fanfic might conflict with the things that happen in the actual story because I either wanted to change it for the sake of making this story flow better or because I simply don't know what the canon events are going to be as that story is currently ongoing. The characters are of course slightly altered because of their different experiences and I made a lot of assumptions about characters I don't know much about. ESPECIALLY Count Vericus himself because he's a side character who was barely mentioned more than 5 times so I really didn't have much to work with.... This was supposed to be a crack ship but now I'm invested. Oops.
