It could be said that the Sky Wielding Crystal was basically at the fingertips of everyone present.
Everyone engaged in the fight stopped at once. Although there was an agreement between them, no one was willing to let such a great opportunity go when it was right in front of them.
Similarly, no one was willing to act rashly because it would jeopardize their chances of obtaining the Sky Wielding Crystal and make them the prime target.
It wouldn't be good to become everyone's prime target, as it was very likely that the person who acted first would become the first to be eliminated. Hence, all of them waited patiently.
