Chapter 3 Part V

- Third Person of View -

The silence was ceased when Ingram started to talk.

" Well, apparently I encountered my little sister in the town a while ago." he said.

" Is that so." Rias said as she look at Asia who was also looking at her.

" Why not introduce yourself Asia, and I have something to do." he said as he went towards the stairs that leading to the basement.

Currently his research about the Sacred Gear Extractor hasn't been getting progress lately, his plan was to make a weapon that capable to separate anything for sure that it didn't need to make a ceremony or ritual whatsoever to activate the Extractor as he needs it use in battlefield, because he got a feeling that will face a bunch of Sacred Gear User especially the Longinus types.

When Ingram was left, Rias and Asia was not talking as they are analyzing each other, the first one who spoke is Rias.

" Nice to meet you, my name is Rias Gremory I am Ingram's king in the Peerage." she says as she sat down in the sofa as they are in living room.

" My name is Asia Argento, hmm.. I am Brother Sig's little sister, despite not being blood related." Asia says as she remained standing.

" Well then, where did you meet Ingram, I'm curious as lost his memories last when he woke up last year." Rias said while saying the half truth after all she knows Ingram identity but not the body that he possessed, all she knew that the former owner of the body was a powerful Exorcist based on what the clothes that he wears last year.

" Brother's name was Sigurd, I first met him during the time when I was in orphanage at the young age, when he learns that I awakened my Sacred Gear he patiently taught me how to wields the sword." Asia said with reminisce on her tone.

" I see that's explain why he has the Gram." Rias said as lean her back at the sofa.

" Can you explain why Brother Sig has lost his memories?" Asia asked as she feels her brother was like becoming another person, she knew that he is him yet its not.

" I found him in the dark alley without consciousness, when he wakes up he didn't know anything about himself, even his name was included so he made name for himself." Rias said just like earlier, she saying the half truth regarding Ingram.

- Meanwhile -

While the two people was talking about Ingram, the person that they are talking about has teleported towards the Einzbern Castle directly to the laboratory plus library.

The place was so tidy despite the owner who likes to experiment his magecraft that he recreated. Ingram was walking towards the item that placed on the top of sturdy table which is the Sacred Gear Extractor but unlike before, the appearance was disassembled and the core was missing which is the main mechanism of the Extractor. While he was busy on researching the core, there was a shadow of the person coming towards him.

Based on silhouette, it was form of young girl around 13 to 14 years old. When the silhouette shows her appearance, she has a medium length silver hair that tied in twintails and her eyes was gold, she was wearing a Gothic Lolita Dress that matches her appearance, and most of all she has a bluish transparent wing on her back.

She was walking towards Ingram while holding a book contains most of Magecraft theories of Ingram that related in Thought Partition and Thought Acceleration as she was avoiding the destroyed gaming consoles in the floor along the broken cd which has titled Dark but the rest of title was missing due to cd was cut in the half.

When she was near behind Ingram, she looked at the things that he creating with interest.

" Ara~ it looks like your motivation went up again." she said as she leaned her head at his shoulder.

"Leen? oh because I got a clue how to create the Primordial Runes albeit its weak compared to my previous world." Ingram says as he creating a mark that contains an bit amount of mana. He look at the young girl named Leen while his hands was instinctively moved to create the Runes.

It's been a year since their bizarre and awkward meeting through special circumstances.

- Flashback -

Rias went towards his laboratory inside the campus as she was inviting Ingram to get his familiar. When she entered to his laboratory, Ingram was currently doing a push out using only his one finger and his feet was not touching the ground or wall.

" 1000...1001, hm? Rias what is it?" he says without stopping his workout.

" It's your time to get you your own familiar, we are going to Familiar Forest tonight as today the Full Moon which is best to get the familiar that suits to you." Rias said as she continuesly look at his body.

" Not interested." he said.

" Why?" she asked.

" My standards was too high as I want a familiar that similar hobby of mine, like researching and recreating magecraft." he says while not stopping a bit from his workout, he sense her leering towards his body but he ignores it as it's not like the first time she did it so.

" What about the Guardian of Familiar Forest maybe we can asked her?" she says.

" Tiamat? no way it's probably giving me a lot of annoyance due to her history with Ddraig." he as the crimson gauntlet appeared in his left arm.

[My partner is correct, that crazy woman killed many wielder of Boosted Gear in the without letting them to collect the fragment of her treasure to gave it her.] Ddraig said through the Boosted Gear.

" If you say so, how about to summon ones although this one dangerous due to lack of catalyst." Rias said to Ingram.

" What happened to the one who summon without catalyst?" he asked.

" There was the author named is Howard Phillips Lovecraft or H.P. Lovecraft, he summon a lot of Cthulhu Creatures that brings horror to all residents of Supernatural World even those normal people by writing the book. Apparently he used the Quill of the Goddess Hera that long been lost in the ages that unknownly comes to him. Although the quill itself was not something special, but the ability itself to draw the energy of the world to write in any material could make the ordinary book into a Necronomicon or any magic tomes, otherwise he will die just from summoning the one entity." she says as she got a goosebumps as she remembered when she research about cthulhu

as child back then.

" Interesting." he says after he finishes his workout, he do a back flip and sat down on the chair as there was not a spec of sweat on his body.

[...] Ddraig could feel a chill on his spine when he heard his voice.

" What method did he used to summon it?." he says as he look at her.

" It's same method to summon the us the Devils in past by creating a magic circle while H.P. Lovecraft was exception due to the Quill and the way of summoning was unique. And the second requirement was a catalyst from the foreign world or in other dimension like Underworld, Heaven, Alfeim etc, currently the dimension like Alfeim was closely shut to the outside that even Chief God Odin the one who govern the nine realm cannot go to that dimension."

" Catalyst? hmm.. oh I already have that." Ingram said as he took the Avalon from inside his body, after that he tap his foot in the floor two times and the magic circle emerged on it.

- Meanwhile in another world -

There was a kingdom was resided in the continent dominated by mostly humans and demon, this kingdom was dedicated only to beastman and non-human race called Mismede Kingdom.

(A/N: 5 years before Toyya arrives in this world )

Inside the Berge Palace, there was a room that dedicated for Court Magician, although it was full of books but it was tidy enough to be presentable. In the large chair, there was a young girl clad in Gothic Lolita holding a broken sword which has resembles the Gram but it's duller and full of cracks on it.

" I can't even find what kind of magic that inscribed here." she said as she caressing the sword, she still remembered 400 hundred years ago when she met the wielder of the broken sword that saved her and her tribes against the strange entities that destroyed their home.

- Flashback within Flashback -

The Strange Entity cannot be harmed by magic or even attacks from the weapon and worst of all they can devour the magic and can make them stronger. If not for the man who eradicate the Strange Entities singlehandedly, perhaps they will face extinction at that time.

After that, the man turned towards her as she was near to him, he walk towards her while staggering as he was losing his color and slowly getting disintegrated. He took something in his chest pocket, a small book but not ordinary as there was a crimson magic circle with initial E in the cover of the book, he nonchalantly gave it to her and says.

"*Sigh* In the end even Infinite and Dreams was not enough to stop the end huh." he look at her.

" Why did you give this to me?" she asked while nervously holding the book in her hands.

" Well, I instinctively guess that we have similar hobby." he smiling wryly said as he vanished in the world while leaving the broken sword and small book.

- Flashback within Flashback ends -

* Tap!* * tap!* * tap!*

The young girl woke up from her reminiscent memory as she look at the source of noise that disrupt her, it was a bear stuffed toy but not ordinary stuffed toy because it can freely move itself like a normal person.

" What it is Paula?" she said with a cold atmosphere around her.

The bear stuffed toy named Paula was shivering but it steel up itself and moved its fingerless hand towards the table as the small book that letting out the crimson light.

" What is happening!" she says as she raise her hand, the small book moved towards her. The book was become important thing to her after the man gave it to her, it gave her a greatest insight when it comes to magic and many theories that did make her becoming a strongest Magician . And despite being a small book, she cannot find the end of its contents as the even looking at it in another side because of the strange seal on it that slowly unlock if the user learned and mastered the existing theories in the book.

- Meanwhile in DXD World -

Ingram was looking at the magic circle that shining in front of him with a raise of his eyebrow, he could feel that something calling him at the other side of the magic circle. he stood up and wear his shirt and blazer as he summon the Gram.

" Well Rias it seems it something calling to me and remember bring me a hot chocolate when I go back alright." he said as he walk towards the magic circle when he was prepared.

" .... *sigh* okay." she is getting to used on his behavior, she remembered when Ingram and her brother fight against each other although it looks like her brother will absolutely win due to his strength but actually no.

After all no matter what race or gender you are they have a weakness no matter how they overcome it unless they are genderless, she remembered how loud the cracking noise when Ingram kicked her brother's nuts it's so loud that can rival the most loudest firecracker in the human world.

The reason why they fight because Sirzech and Grayfia just happened to visit them and saw how harsh Ingram when it comes to trained them. As siscon he is, he challenged Ingram in duel and the latter was boredly accept it. Although the injury was healed thanks to Phoenix Tears, the phantom pain was enough for Sirzech to fear him.

" See you later then." Ingram said as he jumped down in the magic circle.

- Back to Another World -

" What is this? Why do I feel nostalgic in this presence." the young girl said.

< Master and Servant Pact initiate > the small book suddenly speak in neutral voice, a crimson magic circle appeared in the above the young girl.

"Hmm?" suddenly a young man around 17 years old comes out from the magic circle in bizarre way as he was about to falling down with head first to the ground. Same as the young girl look up in surprised when the young man shows up from magic circle.

*Kiss!*

The lips of the two met as the sudden gush of power went through to the young girl and a magic crest form on the top of her right hand with the word " der Diener". And the young man feel the connection to her as he has a magic crest in the top of his left hand with the word " der Meister", their position last in minute as the young man balanced himself to stand. This young man is Ingram, at first he expects he will fight his soon to be familiar to accept him as the master so he thought, he didn't expected that he will find himself in the room with filled with book and the young girl under him, but he didn't underestimate her as base on mana around her she can compete against Saber in terms of density.

( A/N: der Diener means Servant in English, der Meister means Master)

" Well sorry about that." he says nonchalantly as he looks around him.

" You-!!!" the young was about to unleashed a magic but she found the sword in the back of Ingram which has great resemblance except this one was not destroyed. She look at him, she saw a short silver white hair that matches on his red eyes and his strange clothes article, compared to the man that saved her and her tribe whos has similar hair color but a bit long that covers his face and his eyes was emerald green that look like coming from the eyes of the dragon. But their mannerisms was same as young man in front of her was younger compared to him.

" Hmm based on your wings, you are probably a fairy." Ingram said as he observed her from top to bottom then he look at the broken sword lying on the large chair. He snapped his finger as the broken sword slowly levitate and quickly moved towards him.

" What is your name?" the young girl said after she calm down as she watched his action towards the broken sword.

" Ingram von Einzbern." he said as he was using the enhanced version of Structure Analysis.

--- Sword of Infinite Possibilities ( Demonic Emperor Sword: Gram)

The sword used by the Guardian of the five worlds, World Eater, Monster amongst the monsters, Ruler of the Underworld, The one with Domination named I*****, the sword accompanied its wielder in the countless battles against the Outer Gods and Invaders. The sword was imbued by the blessings of Dragon of Apocalypse and Dreams Great Red and Dragon of Infinity Ouroboros Ophis but the sword reached to its limits as it destroyed itself.

[ERROR: This object cannot be analyze anymore!] ---

*Hiss!*

The bunch of information made Ingram's brain Overheat and backlash was affecting him, he shook his head and look towards her.

" What about you?" he said.

" My name is Leen, I am Chief Elder of the Fairy Tribe and Court Magician of Mismede Kingdom." Leen said as she gracefully bow as the show of etiquette.

" Then you must be my Familiar. " Ingram said as he summon a chair from his shadow and sat on it.

" Ara~what's make you say that~" Leen said with the tick mark on her temples as she letting out an enormous amount of mana that she secretly surprised because the vast amount of mana coming from her.

" ..." Ingram silently look at her as he motion his left hand to show the magic crest with the word der Meister. Leen look down as she lift her right hand to see the magic crest with the word der Diener. Leen has bit understanding in the language that foreign to her thanks to the small book.

" Well , I like you." he said as he didn't know that there was another meaning on it.

" Huh?" Leen uttered said with a small blush on her face due to sudden confession.

" Researching magic and innovating the magic was was my hobby, so I guess that I'm lucky today to found someone with a same hobby like me." he said while currently using the Variant version of Structure Analysis called Field Analysis Magecraft which is useful for tracking and exploring, he is using it to analyze all the books around him. As he finds it interesting especially their concept of magic in this world has similarly in his current world except the Null Element.

" If you are interested, I have an offer for you." he says after he finishes his analysis.

" *Sigh * what is it?" she says with a bit disappointed though she didn't notice it.

" I will teach you some of my magecraft, in return you will teach me your magic in this world." Ingram says as he cast Materialisieren, after he finished the casting there was a Lever-Action Sniper Rifle on his hand.

" Can I ask you a question?" Leen said while looking at strange objects in Ingram's hands.

" Why do I feel stronger after the Master and Servant Pact?" she says.

" Hmm I feels it's kinda familiar and at the same time unfamiliar." he said as he inspecting the gun on his hands.

" Here, maybe you can find it." Leen says as she gave the small book to him.

When he took the book, he kinda feels nostalgia especially the magic circle with initial e. He read the book and he didn't know how long he will finish it.
