"What about you both. When we all woke up you guys were here outside the cave. Guess that mean you both woke up earlier than us. Did you saw him?"

And he had to ask us. Damn it. Before I can even think of any answer the old man answered and cleared all the doubt.

"When I woke up he was not here at all. Soon after sometime he woke up as well."

"Are you guys saying the truth that you didn't saw him?"

"Indeed, we do not have any reason to lie to you at all. What good is to come by lying to you."

As the soldier looked at both of us carefully for some time. He decided to stop.

"Well, I don't think it is a good idea to stay here any longer. The monsters can easily smell us and follow our trail. It is better to keep moving. When we reach any safe place where you both should better answer all my questions."

Saying that the soldier went and decided to make preparation for our plan.

"You saved us old man. You have my thanks."

"No problem, brat."

For some reason now that he had started calling me a brat I have started to hate him a lot.

'Huuuuuuh, I really hate this geezer. But it's not like I can do anything. After all he saved me twice.'

Once from the insane soldier who was trying to strangle me and second from this soldier suspicion.

'Whatever.'

As all of the prisoner and the last soldier decided to move I was gradually behind them and talking to the old man. I really need information. I desperately need them.

As I was moving I decided to talk to the old man and ask him about everything he knows about this world.

"Old man, I am serious. So please tell me everything you know about this world. And from everything I mean everything. From least interesting things to most important and crucial things."

Looking at me for some seconds he old man nodded. And decided to comply with my request.

"I understand."

And thus he revealed everything he knows about this world. Frankly the more he told me the more I was baffled.

'Gods exist in this world.'

Amazing. In my previous world, god was an imaginary being and a concept to bring together ideals, aspiration, faith, and belief of people together.

Yet in this gods exist.

"Guess it looks like you told me a lot thanks."

Saying those words I thanked him and decided to move.

After all what he said was not simple at all. I really need some time to comprehend.

"Huuuuuuuuuh, this is not going to be easy."

Saying those words I decided to ask more questions about this world. As the more he told me the more I grew curious about this world. Even the least interesting topics were able to grab my attention.

'This child really wasn't lying.'

When Renard ask him about himself he really didn't knew anything about himself.

'At that time I thought that this young lad was just trying to evade my question. And not disclosing much about himself.'

Little did Leonard know that when he decided to go with the lie that he had an amnesia Renard didn't believe him at all. He believed that Leonard was just making some lies to evade his questions.

'I thought that if I save him from that insane soldier, he would tell me about everything me know. But seeing those curiosity and interest in those eyes I can confirm that he was not lying about amnesia.'

Renard was always suspicious of Leonard when he said that he had amnesia, but after seeing how he was reacting he really started to feel that he was no lying.

'I really don't know what this brat is thinking. Guess it looks like I found something entertaining on this boring journey.'

Little did Leonard know that his friendship with old man Ren had grew unknowingly.
