Imagine a world unlike the one we know today, set in the 1800s, where werewolves and vampires dominate humanity. Following the tumultuous war of 1789, a new world order emerged in which humans were enslaved and kept in check by these supernatural beings.

The continents became divided territories claimed by werewolves, while the urban landscapes fell under the control of vampires. Though both species held power, they were not free to roam as they pleased; each answered to a higher authority. Vampires had kings and queens ruling over every land and continent, accompanied by a retinue of lords and dukes tasked with maintaining order. Werewolves operated under a different hierarchy, led by one Alpha and Luna per pack, followed by the Beta and Delta, who managed the warriors and omegas.

Every leader was responsible for ensuring their followers adhered to the laws, which could differ significantly from one territory or pack to another. Yet, there were three universal rules that every vampire and werewolf had to obey:

1. Crossing into marked territories without the landholder's permission is strictly forbidden. Those who break this rule face punishment determined by the landholder's respective leaders.

2. Relationships between werewolves and vampires are utterly prohibited. If such a bond is discovered, the responsible leaders will take severe action, often resulting in death for the individuals involved. This ban extends to all beings—no relationships outside your own kind.

3. Any vampire or werewolf who incites violence or conspires to commit acts against their nation or superior will face grave consequences. They risk execution while being held accountable by their nation's legal system, which issues final judgments.

Humans, meanwhile, are bound by a different set of harsh rules. Most live under the authority of their masters or serve as enslaved blood banks for affluent vampire families. Areas designated as free zones for humans exist, but these were established by vampires and werewolves to prevent the extinction or overexploitation of humans.

Once a year, the so-called Big Five convenes an auction in which humans who have turned eighteen or older become commodities, sold to the highest bidder, or relocated for breeding purposes. The Big Five is the council of the most potent leaders responsible for making and enforcing the laws. Comprised of two ancient vampires and two venerable werewolves, this council greatly influences vast lands and kingdoms.

What sets the Big Five apart is Sidonia, an ancient figure who holds the decisive vote in the event of a split decision among the pairs. She is shrouded in mystery and is the most powerful entity among them. Nobody knows her origin, and her inability to breed makes her unique.

Sidonia is revered for her wisdom and foresight, capable of glimpsing future fragments. Her presence commands respect from all beings. With her lithe, cat-like movements and striking foxy eyes that can pierce through any deception, Sidonia is both captivating and elusive. Standing just five feet tall, she serves as a reminder not to underestimate anyone, for she possesses the uncanny ability to sense danger long before it approaches. This enigmatic, lynx-like figure is untouchable, and her reign remains an enigma to all who encounter her throughout their lives.
