Ghost Pair.
Extract 1:
Emily stood up as she heard the footsteps receding and the voices getting farther. She rushed into the cubicle finally giving in to the urge to vomit. Stepping out she felt light headed.
She stood before the stink, opening the tap. The water was obviously cold but she felt numb as she repeatedly scrubbed her hand. She scrubbed and scrubbed till they were red, tears cascading down her cheeks.
Her movements became more desperate as the words, not clean enough, dirty, filthy played in her head over and over again like some broken mantra.
Extract 2:
Emily was stuck in a dream or was it?. She felt like opening her eyes but she couldn't. Levi was here, he was just outside the door. Somehow she knew it. She could feel it. Weird, wasn't it?.
Tired, so so tired..
Beep, Beep, Beep
"Doctor the patient's vitals are failing!! ", a nurse exclaimed.
It would be nice to get one of Levi's hugs. Hmm even a cuddle with Caleb will feel good.
Too tired.
Beep, Bee
"We lost her".

Levi knew he could put an end to this. All he needed to do was breakdown but he found it hard to do. He couldn't. His vocal cords refused to cooperate with the pain which ran through his body.
All this was a result of practice from all those years in the past. Him vehemently refusing to give his bullies the satisfaction of hearing him cry.
Levi was a bloodied mess as he laid on the floor. A few of his bones were broken too. His eyelids felt heavy, vision becoming blurry.
[Life's warmth couldn't sustain our love, just maybe... death's cold hands would], was his last thought before taking in his final breath.

"I am OWL, welcome to Thriller Night Scape".
Death wasn't the end. There was another chance to live again. The Night Scape was a realm controlled by the system OWL. In this realm all souls regained their physical bodies and were once again humans. In order to live again they had to survive a number of horror movies, accumulating a certain amount of points.
Dying in a movie was dying for real this time. The only fate left was being refined to become a movie prop.
Another chance at life, Emily and Levi chuckled, why not?. They'll do anything to regain their lost youth.
While they played the gods placed bets.
"I call dibs on those two".
"It seems you are out of luck this time"
"Isn't that your favorite being pummeled to the ground?. Pfft".

The first arc, ghost pair explores our couples high school life, the drama and how they died. The background story is really rich. I just wanted to write them taking revenge but I underestimated my love for details.
This arc explores how everything deteriorated to the point of no return. The buildup is great so trust me. It isn't laggy. There's also the revenge aspect of this arc, please don't expect merciful deaths. I don't play with my revenge.
The second arc is unlimited flow and will comprise of several other parts. The couple won't just go through horror instances but there will be a lot of behind the scene scheming. Even the Night Scape has a hierarchical system.
Since arc one was revenge expect those who died to be present in Thriller Night Scape.
