Although the guards and attendants were everywhere,

I felt like there was an intruder somewhere.

Ustra suddenly stopped, and I did too.

She held my hands and we speedily moved to another passageway like a flash of light.

We dashed into the maze and made so many turnings till we got to a dead end.

We stopped, and I perceived an unfamiliar fragrance.

We heard some heavy-footed steps then we saw his long extremely thin and lanky shadow,

"I know you are there Princess Ustra, i can see you..." He said,

He raised his hands over his shoulder,

"i am here for peace Ustra. " He assured.

"You came for peace? Why then were you following me Alfred?." Ustra asked softly.

We walked out confidently.

"To have a word with you princess why did you hide? Were you scared ?" He said with a proud look and a sheepish silly smile.
