Rose

"May pay attention in class and get off your phone." The teacher says across the room.

"We keep telling you she will not respond to May she goes by Rose." One of Rose's friend says to the teacher.

"I'm sorry Rose get off your phone and take off your headphones and pay attention." The teacher says

"No" Rose replies

"What you have to do what I say I'm the teacher"

"I don't feel like doing work today so I won't do work today and plus there's only 10 minutes of school left so might as well stop"

Rose looks towards Marry "Hey wanna hang out at my house later?"

"Sure what time?" Marry asks.

"Right after school." Rose replies

The bell rings signifying that the students can leave. Rose and Marry walk to Rose's house but when they got there her dad was passed out drunk on the couch. Ever since Rose's mom died her dad blamed it on her even though Rose was at school he abused her. "Shhh, my dad's asleep don't wake him im gonna go up to my room to grab some art supplies I'll meet you in the garage" Rose whispers.

"Ok" Marry whisper back

Rose goes upstairs to grave her sketch book and pencils to draw. CRASH. The sound of glass breaking followed by Marry screaming "LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Rose runs downstairs to see what happened as she turns the corner she sees her dad walking towards a crying Marry on the floor with blood dripping from her head and a broken bottle on the ground. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Rose yells as she runs towards her dad.

She swings at her dad but he dodges lunches her in the stomach and makes her fall to the ground gasping for breath. he goes to walk back to Marry but Rose gets up and punches her dad in the back of his head. BOOM. A sound so loud almost like a bomb whent off inside. it was so loud you could hear from a mile away. Her dad's bead explodes from the shcowave of the sound. Marry is also lying there dead ears gushing out blood from the noise. Rose is in shock looking at her best friend, her only friend she had when she was a kid. She was now dead. Rose walked up to Marry's dead body hugging it in silence with Rose's quiet sobs. 5 minutes go by and still silence when you would hear police sirens in the distance. Rose heard this and ran upstairs to pack her things she packed some clothes her art supplies cause that's the only things that's gonna keep her sane.

Rose is now on the run from the cops. She was walking down the street with her scarlet hoodie on with black jeans and red sneakers with her dark red headphones on when a woman wearing a dark black cloak, crimson red eyes, and long dark black hair walked up to her "My what beautiful scarlet eyes you have they're almost as red as mine" The man says "By any chance are you May?"

"Maybe who's asking?" Rose asks.

"Well you can call me Sensei and I'm. going to teach you how to use that ability you have but your gonna have to train with another one of my students" says Sensei

"Then yeah but call me Rose" Rose replies "So about this other student who are they and what is this ability your talking about? "

"Everyone has an ability it's called Element except you have to train to fully unlock use of your ability at will. You can use it when under certain circumstances or emotions like when you killed your dad you were pissed so you used it for a brief moment. Theres many uses of element for instance killing and assassination, and there are simpler ones like daily need like cooking and such."

"So what is my element?" asks Rose

"By the sounds of it either sound or some sort of explosion." Sensei replies. "We are going to have to test which one it is at the base so follow me."

About 30 minutes of walking in silence until they finally reach the base. Sensei puts in the code to the base and they climb down. "You sure are quiet, Karma on the other hand wouldn't shut up about which ability he wants more. Anyway this is The Underworld. It's a city underground full of people connected to the underworld like assassins and yakuza bosses."

"Who's karma?" Rose asks,

"my other student he is a handful, you too should be around the same age,how old are you by the way?" Asks Sensei.

"15 turning 16 on the 16th of July" Rose replies

"That's a day before Karma's" Says sensei

Sensei and Rose approach a building and Sensei does the secret knock and they enter. "Is cody still out cold?" Sensei asks

"Yeah he is, who is this hottie you brought with you. " a boy answers. he was wearing a light grey hoodie, piercing dark grey eyes light brown messy hair.

"Karma meet Rose, Rose meet Karma. You too will be training together for the 2 years you will be here got it Karma." Sensei says. " Karma go see what ability she has."

"Right this way beautiful." Karma says walking away.

Rose doesn't know what to think she starts to blush and thinks (damn this guy is hot and he's only a day older than me sweet). Rose and Karma go to the testing room to see what her ability is. "Just put both your hands on this and we will see but be careful it might be strong." Karma says to Rose.

Rose nervously put her hands on the orb. BOOM. a loud sound wave hits Karma knocking him back. "Holy shit" Karma says as he gets up laughing. "Hey Teach looks like she's a rare"

"So I was right it was sound." Sensei says

Rose confused on what just happened looks at the burns all over the wall and cracks. "Oh the burns are from my lightning and the cracks are from your super rare sound ability." says Karma

"From here in out you two will be training together for a long time." Sensei says to both of them. "Also I will be scouting other members so I will be gone every once in a while."

"Oh don't worry we'll get along" Karma says as he winks. "Follow me to your room Rose."

Rose is blushing while she follows him and she thinks, (The lords have blessed me with this hottie and I get to be with him until this tournament)
