17 Go as the River Flows

Kaylan was brought to a local post that was filled with city guards, who were in alignment with the Royal Family and their large set that is the Royal Gilvenheim Army, who had been around since the beginning of Royalty here, a time when Dragons once roamed the lands, until conflict and stupidity arose from both sides.

Jimmy knew this, cause he learned these things by himself through books, almost never through people because of his Cerrit abilities.

He had excused himself from trading in Kaylan himself for the reward, with the succubi covering for him and telling the guards that he was sick, and 'had to do the right thing' to not spread his illness.

Sitting on a rooftop, he opened his scarf, and his forked tongue came out as he let out a hiss. He sighed in disappointment. He thought about his situation, and the decision he made to go with the succubi and the others about this so called war with their former queen, Malvagia.

Who even is this Malvagia? Jimmy thought as he looked at his hands. They started to omit a fainted glow of strange circle like patterns, almost ink like.

He heard a beep, and in front of his eyes, a silver screen emerged. It read the following:

[Supportive Abilities]

[Regeneration]: When a limb is decapitated, it has a 10 second range to heal the wound. Time may take longer depending on the limb and the decapitating damage. This abilitiy only works up to two limbs

Jimmy sighed at the sight of this system, or set of abilities as he overheard Adventurers and other people taking their time and energy to go outside for sight seeing and gaining experience. He never understood Adventurers in particular, fighting beasts left and right, and ocassionally going into dungeons to seek treasure or what ever was in there.

What are these people thinking? He thought of them, this a game or something?

He thought about the succubi. Again, they hadn't try to kill him up until now, let alone seduce him, unless you count Zaniva who seemed really comfortable gripping his arm to fit in with the other humans. If they were really willing to find a way to get rid of his Cerrit abilities….

"Jimmy!" Belva yelled from down below. "Come on! Sillis' insists on going to a bookstore before we get a move on!"

I guess I'll have to go as the river flows, Jimmy thought about the succubi and this war between them and their former queen of the Underworld.
