A New VRMMORPG called Darkelm Online had just been released, and everyone's playing it. An immersive, open world game with insane skills and graphics.
In fact, it's gotten so popular that it's the most played VRMMORPG in the world, and those who couldn't afford it were practically dying to play it.
Ethan is one of the few who couldn't afford a new VR wristset, the latest on the market, so he tries the next best thing in order to play the game. He uses a very old headset his father left him years ago.
But after loading the game with the set, he finds out that dying in the game would mean dying in real life. Things get even more complicated, when the system started showing up in Ethan's life, forcing him to return to the game.
The only thing he could do now was to get stronger using the system, to get so strong that he would be invincible. So strong that he would dominate every other player in the game.
