6. Master John Baron

Chapter 6

As if on cue, just when Master John Baron was thinking of how James could have left the states and come back already playing such tricks in such a short time, the door of the Baron residence opened and the young man majestically walked into the house with pride and uplifted shoulders.

Master Baron's body became very stiff as if he was an ice block, just what he had dreaded was happening in front of him, James had entered into the big Baron house after all the years of keeping him away.

James entered the house ignoring the stares of everyone, he saw the old man and Jonathan at the dinning table, so he naturally followed his instincts and sat on the table close to the seat, then he took out a dumpling from the plate in front of young master and ate.

"Dad, say something". Johnathan was angry seeing this person be regarded as a stranger doing anything he liked both at the office and now at home.

"Yes yes, James what are you doing here?" Master Baron came back to his senses and asked with a serious tone as he glared at his son.

"I have come back to take what is rightfully mine, you know, the company, the house, my father and my mother, my title in general, as the First Young Master of the Baron Family."

"What rubbish, I am not your father, you are only a bastard and you know it, you have absolute no right to be called the first young master, It is enough for you that I gave you my name and sent you to away to live a comfortable life away from me, but you have the nerve to show your disgusting face to me…. Loveth"

Master John Baron greeted his mouth as he spelled out the words to him on by one calling the name of his wife.

Loveth heard the commotion and her name being called so she rushed downstairs and was very surprised to see James standing there with her husband and her other son.

"Mom, I have good news, don't be so surprised to see me here, I've actually come to tell you that am ready for marriage, you should be happy"

James tried to encourage her.

Loveth jumped up in excitement when she heard that her son was going to get married, she ignored the piecing obsidian look Master John was giving her and ran to hug her son.

she really missed him, all these while Master John had kept them away from each other and forbade her from seeing him.

But she had actually sneaked in whenever he traveled abroad for a business trip to visit him in the states, but even at that, there's no saying how much she wished he would come back to stay with her and his father.

Seeing him now in front of her, she couldn't contain herself as tears of joy oozed out of her eyes uncontrollably, since he had finally gotten the courage to come here, she believed that everything would be soon resolved.

She was especially happy that he was also getting married and was eager to find out who the girl was, was she a local and cultured woman from a respectable family or a western woman who is free and had so many demands, whichever one it was, it doesn't matter as long as he'll stay back in the country now.

She was still hugging her son when she felt someone tugged and her and violently pushed her to create a distance between the two but the forced applied was so much that she she lost her balance and fell on her butt.

"Mom!"

"Mom!"

The two gentlemen in the house shouted in unison when they saw their mother fall and hit her head on the edge of the dinning table.

"She's not your mother"

Johnathan immediately roared when he saw James rushed to save their mother, he felt that James was trying to lay claim on everything that belonged to him and he was not going to let it be.

"Little boy, I'll be kind enough to share my mother with you okay, now come and help me lift her up"

"Pft, are you not even strong enough to lift her up from the floor?" Johnathan was now mocking him, IG seems he was just big and muscular for no reason, at least he had something against him.

"Oh No boy, I would have never asked you to help my mom if not because I wanted to do this"

With the speed of light, James ran to his fathers side and punched him directly on the face, he also used so much energy that Master John Baron lost his balance and almost fell on the floor.

Luckily, he held unto the table for support so he didn't fall, but James was not done.

"Don't you know that she's a woman? How can you push her like that, is that how you treat your wife as a respectable man in the society? What would people think of you"

He spat out those words harshly up to the extent that saliva escaped from his mouth to mar. Baron's face that was now at a lower level than his due to his bent position.

"Hey you stranger, stay away from my father, this is a family affairs and is non of your business, you just appeared and wrecked my happy home, you insolent man, get lost from here".

Even though he agreed with him, Johnathan wouldn't show it easily, after all he is angry with him and trying to understand the whole situation but that doesn't mean he would stand by and see someone else insult his father, even if the person also calls him father.

"Oh but you must be mistaken small brother, I more than belong here and like I said, I'll take everything away from those who snatched it away from me". James had a deadly glare as he looked at Johnathan, not only that, he spoke so confidently that it pissed him off.

He had originally come back to get explanation from this father, but he seemed to be very useless so he could rely on himself now.
