A sigh ran through the room, it was finally time to leave a place she dreaded and once called home, her father passed away 2 years ago and for that fact she couldn't bear packing up his things, she waited for that long, hoping for a miracle to help her move on, but miracles are hard to come by.

She folded her arms across her chest and sighed once more, she looked at the filled up carton boxes in her father's bedroom, she swore inwardly that she won't go through it until she was ready.

She sat down on the floor sobbing quietly, she finally broke, a true beauty she was, even in her state of mind. She won't say she was purely Asian or Black, she was mixed, her mom's grandfather was black so she has distinctive hair, and a mesmerizing skin tone, sharp features and a tall structure.

She wasn't girly or boy loving as other girls her age, she was far too busy for a husband and certainly far too busy to date, she wanted to marry but not be someone's wife, she wanted to be independent at her own free will. Something she didn't think any man would want his wife to be in the 21st century, most girls want men to take care of them, while she utterly despised that notion.

At last after a few minutes of sobbing she stopped, straightened her clothes, took one of the boxes and left. Grief was not a word anymore, it was how she felt.

I think this story is preparing to be quite an interesting one, and while I've only read six chapters so far, I can say I like it. The world, characters and plot are all well developed and thoughful. I really like Aliyah, who seems to be a strong protagonist and I love her no nonsense personality. The only things that could be improved is certain sections where the dialogue between two characters is mashed together in one paragraph, instead of in their own lines. Overall though, the author has done a great job!

I always enjoy a strong female lead and this story gives just that! The characters are done nicely and there is always nice inkling of a mystery to keep you wanting to read more. It's also a reincarnation style story and I am in LOVE with that genre right now. Overall, pretty well done. Great job author!

Okay, review time!! This was made from reading ten chapters, so take my review with a grain of salt! Writing quality is 4.5/5. I see some run-on sentences that go on for too long without a full stop, reading it might seem long-winded, so that's why the score is not fully 5 stars, overall the writing style is awesome! This was a run-on sentence to give an example of what I meant! A full stop could have been placed at the first and second comma. Just remember to give readers a breather! ...got shadow banned because it was too long, review continues n the comments
