The Investigations of Hermaeus Dawnbringer: An Adventure to the FT

It has been recently found that the city of Colesce has been consumed by a mysterious fog. I was pondering on hiring you, my old, dear friend to hopefully investigate it.
In my understanding of such matters, murder cases have been thriving, yet at the same time, our city seems to be getting grabbed by more and more powerful men, all wearing the same emblem on various clothing items. While we assume them to be the murderers of various city politicians and leaders, I feel they have a far more nefarious target in mind with this sinister fog looming.
I and a few friends will meet you at 52 Lords Way. They are former detectives who have been ripped from their jobs after piecing together the clues that could lead us to an answer. They may all live comfortable jobs now, but they feel they haven't gotten to the bottom of this.

Finally, a case Hermaeus has been pursuing for months since his last big case which put him under the limelight for the world to see. While he may still live humbly at his home in his home city of Formire, everywhere he travels to solve a mystery garners a lot of attention.
Danger may follow Hermaeus but he's always ready for it, and it's time to crack the case of the Foggy Town that has cropped up as of late. People assumed it was industrial smog, but strangely, the fog does not carry the scent of coal, oil or Emakovite smoke.
Will he solve the case?
