The King's Return[HobiTA]

The story doesn't have to be a sad one, but it is. It starts with me, finding out I'm due to death in exactly twelve years.

I'm looking at the SAME situation I got accustomed years ago. The woman hoping for my health to return at how it was when I was a kid is my Step-Mother. My Father married her the same year I was born, which was like sisteen years back.

The man standing next to my Step-Mother is Father. This whole life, he's been bestowed the shittiest decisions. He had to terminate my Bio-Mom's life because of some strange complications. His family was wiped out in the Cold War and now, he'll soon lose me too; His Last Blood Family.

You must think that I'm desperate but I AM good. I've thought about it and I was never always the one to cry for nothing. It may be a sad story of mine but it is also a proof. I won't give up till the moment I die.

"Leave eveything to us, Mal'n. We will never give up on you. This fight, we are doing it together.."

Plus, I've got people watching my back. Be it that I will probably suffer a lot. This is not the end of ME; Mallo J. Patterson. I can count on faith.. I am sure that God still has a goal for me in this world. I am not done. I have so much to do. I can't leave Father now..

"Are you okay, Mal'n? Your eyes suddenly became dark? Are you in pain? I can call in the nurse if that's the case.."

I'm afraid a bit.

I'm lost a bit.

And Father was overjoyed to hear it from me. Despite that I lied a bit, I didn't want to become the new reason that Father would cry again.

He did so much to find happiness.

He fought for it for years.

He managed to be himself again.

I can't risk it all over me..

Because it freaking hurts right now. That disease that is eating me slowly. I can feel it very vividly. I am losing the battle over death. But I can't say that to them. They sheltered me when I was a nuisance. They are MY LIFE.

"Can I get some time to sleep in now? I wann rest my mind a bit. I don't to waste my energy.. See you tomorrow, Father. Take care, Ma."

Closing my eyes, I see the past that I miss. The time that I dressed over as a girl. When I got punished for cheating on a test. The laughs I had with my friends back then.

With this, it was obvious. I lost my freedom. I lost my future. I lost the chance to lose my virginity. i simply lost a life...

*Breathes in hard*

Waking from a slumber, it suddenly hurts more than it did previously. And the first things I noticed, my room changed. The wall-paint was dull. The window frame was to my left this time. 

And Ma was alone.

She had suddenly grown out white hair.

Her face was looking grim.

And Father was missing.

"..ma, is it halloween? why do you look so frail now?"

Ma looks like she's seen a ghost. Hearing my voice, she screams for the nurse. Rushing in, they check my pulse and do all sorts of weird tests on me. Flashing a light on my eyes, I realise that something went wrong.

Ma was simply too tired to speak.

One of the Nurse took the responsibility to explain.

"Your name is Mallo J. Patterson. Born in Hawai'i, you moved to Canada after you graduated as an Art & Literature Major with your parents, your late father, Sir Jessie Patterson and your step-mother, Ma'am Gregoire Hergile-Patterson. Twelve Years Ago, an Expert Medical doctor, by the name of Ingrid Gerard, got the approval of your parents to operate on your body. Since you were diagnosed an incurable disease, that doctor tried her best to heal you by removing the sources of the problem. BUT. She failed and it resulted in you, falling in a coma. Though, it was an unreal scene to witness a healthy and Speaking Sovereign in front of her, the maid Persona reasoned with her inner mind to prevent any contact between the Prince and the King.

Feeling like a territory war could break out any moment, Prince Joy finally made his mind to leave the scene under the Viper eyes of Maid Persona.
