The Immortal System: Journey into the Myriad worlds.

During April 12-1930s, scientists in Russia conducted experiments on human body, results were obviously a failure. as expected, the drug enhancements didn't work out properly, they were trying to make an alternative from Nazi's super soldiers, but alot more efficient and powerful.

while they had been working on drugs with permanent side effects, a strange masked man invaded their lab, lending a helping hand, he brought a metallic pocket sized artifact, which looked like a donut, as it functioned much similar to the Large Hadron Collider, though it's too small for it's size, with unstable and wacky properties.

He called himself "Kaen", stating that he's from an alternate universe, he was in search of a modern world, as he required nuclear radiation to power up the artifact. he made a deal with them, if they help him to achieve his goal, he'll provide them perfect soldiers, the pinnacle of humanity which these scientists are trying to accomplish.

The scientists accepted his deal, thinking that it's a win-win situation, though it's too absurd for them to believe that man's existence, they had no choice but to accept his deal, just from their own greed and curiosity, maybe it was also fear, as he gave out an aura of intense bloodlust, maybe it was fear that made them accept it, but people live for benefits.

Kaen requested them to conduct this experiment at chernobyl, even warning to evacuate people there, as much as they can, since he stated that the risk is too high enough to cause a world catastrophe. The artifact he made requires a 74 tons of nuclear energy.

As some of the skeptical scientists tried to disprove his existence, until they finally confirmed it, since there was no records to confirm Kaen as a Russian citizen or even a citizen from any other countries, hence they came to a conclusion, an eldritch being from a different world, many world's interpretation theory and so-on, hence the origins of this human remained unknown.

During 1950s, the project was finished and all the nuclear reactors aligned up, in total, there were atleast 10 reactors, to power up this artifact. scientists were scared because they couldn't properly study or determine the situation that was happening.

The mysterious guy maniacally started laughing just as the artifact exploded without warning, the scientists who were vapourised by its radiation but eventually they got resurrected.

Their bodies decayed, but only to be restored from a mysterious residual energy. All their biological flesh and bones were back intact. unfortunately all of them were naked. some of them became embarressed as they covered their own bodies in shame.

But a few scientists came to a realization, that it was a big mistake. Not about the super soldiers, but now, anyone can have supernatural abilities, all thanks to the strange energy.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA" a demonic laughter could be heard, out of nowhere strange humanoid creature appeared, with black reptile skin, with glowing red eyes and an evil grin, it stood around 10ft, turns out the monster was Kaen himself.

As the fleeting light engulfed the creature, suddenly vanishing him into thin air, leaving the Russian scientists utterly perplexed.

After 20 years, as the residual radiation spread, countless research has been done by the particles and radiation, that altered human genome to ascension, this was called Bruno radiation, and also the Bruno Particles, named after the scientist, Bruno Herrmann. In conclusion, the people around the world regardless of age, socio-economic status, class and gender started awakening power abilities.

By 1990, countless ability research centers came to existence, almost 600 million people around the world had awakened powers, with 200 million mid tiers, 5 million high tiers with 3000 elite tiers around the world. although it wasn't it just that.

Laws of the universe morphed as well, alot of Apex predators seem to arise, even if there was only a minor to zero progress in discovery of aliens, the possibility remained. Animals also mutated, as they awakened special abilities as well, as such, some even gained sentience.

Hence the real world became unstable.

Around April 16-2026, 3 hours past afternoon, it's just a normal day, as it's just a sunday, inside a small rent home, A young man in his early 20s, frivoulously yet slowly opening his eyes. his name was Jordan Cage. After binging some doujinshi, Jordan Cage had a good afternoon nap.

Just as he got rid of his thoughts, sadly his fantasies sucked him in.

"Not this again, dammit" Jordan groaned, as he got frustrated,trying his best to control himself, by watching anime, reading comics.

Not to mention, he even started reading light novels and manga. Impatiently waiting for the next updating chapters.

But it only made it worse, as he reached such rapid levels of daydreaming, he deeply hated it, even in his mind, he keeps murmuring words on his head, to make him seem like the narrator, yet considering himself as the protagonist of anime or some kind of story, but in reality its all delusions. He was not a super human, unlike the exceptional 1 billion people.

"Hey" replied Jordan as he picks up the phone, just then he heard a familiar voice.

"Jordan, are you alive?"a feminine voice had whispered, it seemed as if she was concerned about him, yet she asked him with a sarcastic tone.

"yes" Jordan replied awkwardly.

"Really? Last time I checked, you looked pale and thin, Jordan, just tell me, have you had your lunch or not?" she asked with a sterness.

"yeah, I did though, I just made rice and curry as lunch" he said, Jo was lying, not make her worry, although he had breakfast this time.

"Ah I see, glad to hear that, by the way, how's your classes, have you met any problem children" The person in call was none other than his mother, Martha Cage, who worked as a docter, she's mostly around with her daughter, but she rarely had the opportunity to visit her son.

Too far away from his hometown, While joining college, Jordan thought of dropping by at men's hostel. Sadly his mother didn't allow it, so he decided to spend his life at rent house and lived alone. Little did they know, that he's way behind on his studies.

"No, but I guess there's some gossips about big families, some of their kids are getting admission here" said Jordan, with a sigh.

"Do not even try to meet these people, no matter what, don't even follow them around okay? remember last time, even the police wouldn't help us" She cooed, even with all the best she could do, the people with money and power are just miles ahead of them.

"I understand mom" his voice cracked up, reminding him about the past. The bullies from silver spoon. After some boring hours of binging on the internet. he felt guilty about his fleeting happiness.

"Mum thought I would pass my studies, but if this is how i keep up my pace, how would I even graduate? plus I don't want to meet face to face with another high tier" Jordan thought, as he sighed in dismay, going back to his old routine of binge watching anime, and speed reading comics and novels.

It was night time, after guzzeling up his dinner, Jordan layed down on his comfy bed. Still thinking about getting transmigrated to other worlds, engulfed by his fantasies, he puts ear plugs to enjoy his playlist, as he closed his eyes, slowly drifting away into the darkness.

Jordan got into a deep sleep, but suddenly, he heard strange voices echoeing throughout the darkness, it was a voice much similar to that of a mature lady as, it grew bolder, he could feel her stutter, as she moan vehmently, as if she was struggling in pain.

"What the hell, I can't snap back out or just move my body, this is bad" he thought to himself.

As he panicked, he tried to move, inorder to wake himself up, but he couldn't, he felt trapped and suffocated. not until his head was being pulled out, as chills run throughout his spines. oddly enough, he had a lingering sense of longing, as if he's leaving his family, it was as if he missed them deeply and he would never see them again.

"Why am I feeling this way, did I just die right now? there's no way that's possible, no that can't be right" Jordan furiously questioned himself, he couldn't explain what was happening to him, the unknown has made him feel scared, then suddenly, he saw rays of light, which blinded him at first.

"Finally" as he calmly opened his eye lids, although the sight was too alien to him.

"What, this isn't my ceiling, it's kinda similar to ones from the middle ages, although it looks a bit too luxurious" Look at some pentagrams on the wall.

"No way, don't tell me... did I get reincarnated?" Jordan said furiously.

"Why, I never wanted to be here, I haven't done anything in my old life, if only I could get back at my own past, *sigh* maybe revenge is pointless now" he said, even though he had been too lazy.

Jordan raised his new baby hands to his vision, He was reborn from a noble lineage, before he could react, suddenly the maid interupted.

"he is..ALIVE" she screamed with explosive joy, a maid with beautiful blue eyes, and brown hair, could be considered a top model.

"My ears" Jordan closed his ears "she almost killed me with her banshee scream"

The young girl started crying, the time Jordan's new body was unconscious from birth, Now he's drenched in his new mother's body fluids, young maid held him, wiped out the residuals.

"Is it a boy or a girl" asked the tired yet beautiful young mother, who happened to be a duchess

"its a boy" the young maid whispered with a trembling voice, as she wiped her tears, glad that the baby didn't die, after successfully handling the ritual, she gave the baby to his mother.

"Woah, so this is my mom now?" Jordan was amazed at her features, emerald purple eyes, sliver white hair, an ethereal beauty, anyone could tell that her face was breathtaking, for him, she was just beyond perfect.

Her beauty had dwarfed the best models from his world, Jordan kept staring at her with his ball eyes, it felt like an eternity to him, as he froze in awe.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" the duchess giggled, thinking how cute her baby looked, as she held Jordan in her arms. poking his nose playfully with a warm smile.

"Those eyes, I miss my actual mum" Jordan thought.

"Celine, can you think of a name? " the duchess asked the maid.

"How about 'Arthur Jr' ? " the maid suggested.

"Well, I would get confused with two Arthur juniors, how about something else, I can't think of any good names like my husband does" noble women spoke, all she could think of is demonic or draconic names from legends, afraid of her own son being discriminated.

"Well...um..lady Sasha, I read a book yesterday, about the legendary mage who destroyed a god calamity dragon on his own. would Zeref be a good name ?" maid suggested with an embaressed red face.

"Oh did you complete the book, Adventures of Zeref Hermillion, only students of magic academy have it under possession" Sasha was curious and then she asked

"How did you get that book?" she asked the maid.

"Milady, I got it from my sister, she's a student of Reed's magic highschool" replied Celine.

"I see, well, you aren't as bad as her" Sasha teased her.

"you flatter me, if only I were talented as her" she said humbly, although Celine had better experience on battlefield.

Compared to her combat skills, her sister isn't able to overpower her with her magic skills alone, but could she could still keep up with her.

"you want to learn magic!" Sasha eyes have lit with fire, as she was highly obsessed with having apprentice, but she already knew that Celine had some potential.

Celine's pov "I shouldn't have said that, she's gonna squeeze me dry just to teach me. Even if she was kind, I don't want to be her apprentice" she thought.

"I...I..." Celine stood awkardly stuttering and mumbling, Sasha liked her reactions but for a ripe teenager like Celine, she didn't want to embaress her any longer.

"Speak up Celine, say No" Celine thought to herself loudly.

"Alright, then it's decided, I'm gonna teach you but don't worry, I won't be teach you like how I teach others" Sasha Valgurid made crooked smile, as she insisted her on.

"I'm grateful for your kindness" Celine replied without hesitation.

"I'm trapped" Celine thought loudly, as she accidently accepted her request.

As Celine left the room, Jordan was drooling at Sasha, his old habit of daydreaming took over him, her breathtaking features have been more than enough to make him froze in awe.

"Crap, how long did I keep oogling her" Jordan snapped back to his senses. While lady Sasha wiped his drool with a kerchief, as she kissed him on his lips.

"From now on, you're Zerref Vallgurid" the duchess declared his new name, as his eyes lit up, Jordan became excited, about what's yet to arrive, afterall, it's the beginning of a legendary tale.
