Chapter XII

Kinabukasan ay maagang nagising si Edward.

Tinawagan nya si Marco.

Nakailang ring pa bago sumagot ito.

"Hello?" halatang naistorbo ito sa pagtulog.

"Marco! Where are we going later?"

"What?"

"I said where are we going later?"

"What time is it bro?"

"5:30"

"5:30 pa lang ng umaga binubulabog mo na ako? Natulog ka ba?"

"Hindi!" ang sagot ni Edward sa isip.

"Natural natulog ako!" ang sagot nito kay Marco.

"Ang aga mo naman ata masyadong gumising? Excited?"

"Oo!" ang sagot na naman nito sa isip.

"Hindi noh! Bakit naman ako maeexcite?"

"Talaga lang ha!"

"Hindi talaga! Gusto ko lang malaman kung saan tayo pupunta para alam ko kung ano'ng isusuot ko!"

"Wow! Seryoso bro? Naisip mo pa yon? Para kang babaeng first time makikipagdate ah!"

"Syempre kailangan ibagay ko sa pagiging driver yung isusuot ko!"

"Well in that case you should just wear your usual shirt and jeans get-up! And bring a jacket!"

"Okay!"

"Pero hindi ka talaga excited makita si Maymay?" ang habol na pang-aasar ni Marco sa kanya.

"Shut up Marco!"

"Bye lover boy!"

Samantala sa mansyon ni lola Melba, maaga ring nagising si Maymay.

"Juls, wake up!"

"Huh?" ang pupungas-pungas pa na si Juls. Tumingin ito sa cellphone.

"It's still early May! I still want to sleep." at nagtalukbong pa ito ng kumot.

"Wake up Juliana! We have a lot of things to do today!" pilit nyang inalis ang kumot dito.

"Ugh! Someone's too excited for later!"

"I'm not!"

"Eh bakit ang aga mong nanggigising?"

"Hindi ka ba magpapaganda for your date later with Marco?"

"No need! But if you want to go to the salon I will go with you!"

"Bakit ako?"

"Wag ka ng mahiya Mary Dale, alam ko naman na gusto mong magpaganda para kay Dodong maylabs mo!" ang pang-aasar nito sa pinsan.

"Hindi kaya!" pero ramdam nya ang pag-init ng pisngi nya.

Napangiti na lang si Juliana.

"Tara na nga! Let's eat breakfast first and then prepare for our date! Kahit sobrang aga pa."

After breakfast, Maymay and I prepared to go to the mall.

I want her to look her best for Dodong so we went to a salon and did all the works.

Then after, I took her shopping for clothes.

Alam ko naman simple lang ang mga damit na dala nya kaya I decided to buy her a dress. Simple lang naman, 'cause I know that's how she likes it.

Ayaw nya pa nga nung una kaya lang pinilit ko sya!

I actually blackmailed her that I will reveal her true identity to Dodong if she doesn't agree on wearing the dress that I bought for her. Kaya wala na syang nagawa. I haven't told her yet where we are going. It's a secret between me and Marco.

After that we went home and prepared for our date.

Alam nyo naman girls take a lot of time to prepare.

I already told lola that I am going out on a date with Marco. And since I know that "Mary Dale" is not allowed to go out unchaperoned, of course I will bring Maymay with me. And she immediately gave her permission.

I don't know, but I think she has an idea of why Mary Dale is here in Manila.

Anyway, I'm off to prepare for our date.
