The Harem's Losers

Loser. Someone who fails frequently; a runner-up. It was in my final semester of high school where I learned that there was more of a nuance to this word than I realized. It was also part of the reason why I related to those three girls. Dejected and hurting, they were each desperate in their own way to overcome their heartbreak and become something more than the ‘Harem’s Losers.’ And like the idiot I was, I decided I wanted better for myself too. Laughing, struggling, crying, and fighting, we set out to show everyone that we were more than just labels. In doing so, though, we changed everything.
