I hadn't heard much from Henry since that day, he didn't even come to visit me to check up on my injuries. Hell, for the past week, I had barely walked out of the house on account of my injuries, waiting for Boss to come and deal with me for my offense.
But he didn't, instead, I got the care of a lifetime from my precious maid and then was given a job that directly put me out of this whole game they played.
To use Henry as an excuse to keep me away, I don't know what sort of game they were playing. And why protect me? Well, considering how close I was to Master at the time, it can be seen why they would protect me. But still, why try to use Henry as an excuse at all?
