Olenna pov

Being born and raised in the reach Olenna is more than familiar with faith and Most Devout, most men want power and the wealth that comes with it, some men use the sword to get power and some use their books but the men that don't have a strong body to use weapons and the sharp mind to use knowledge hide behind the gods to satisfy their need for power

She has met many men who boast about preaching the word of gods, but all of them were bought with gold or women, if you see clearly than these so called men of gods have more perverse urges than any other man

Even when she is disgusted by them she still had dealings with such men because even the great houses can't directly go against the entire faith, having such dealings with them she knew what the faith thought about the Targaryens and the dragons, they call them abominations and against the seven but she knows those old men believe that they should be the one to wield such power as the men of gods

But the new High Septon is more like a dog to the new king, he wags his tail when the king wants,he bites when the king orders and faith is slowly changing to accommodate the Targaryens more and more, even the new Most Devout is filled with Targaryen supporters

When the old High Septon and Most Devout were meeting in oldtown she knew they were upto something but with the war happening she didn't have time to deal with those old men but suddenly they all died as soon as the new king took the capital, she found it odd but didn't pay much attention to it, but with how the new High Septon is acting she investigated the incident

And her suspicions were true that was no accident those old men were killed, even though she couldn't find any proof but she is sure they were killed by the king, while everyone was focused on the war he took out the biggest problem in his reign without anyone realising

For once in her life she was happy that her stupid son just sat on his fat ass and did nothing, during rebellion as the tide was turning against the Targaryens more than the few reach lords wanted to join the rebels but thankfully Mace just sat at storms end and did nothing

If they had joined the rebellion she and her family would have died in their sleep without even knowing what happened,how can a man just keep getting more terrifying the more she knows about him,now she has no choice Margaery must become the king's goodsister so they can have the dragons on their side than against

Val knew why the three of them were chosen to go south with their new king, Tormund is Mance's most trusted man they knew tormund won't turn his back on the freefolk no matter what and Ygritte had experienced with the silver prince but the elders chose her to charm the new king

Even though she was more that insulted by this ploy but she can understand why the elders did what they did, even if the freefolk can get away from the walkers but they will in kneeler's land after crossing the wall, they need someone on the inside who can vouch for them, with this they can have the king's ear directly, this is not the first time this is happening when a tribe is taken over by a new tribe with a different chieftain they send a girl to him to speak on behalf of them

But she can understand that even if she wants to charm the king it won't be easy there are many ladies just waiting to get close to the king even his half sister is in the mix, but the bastard spends more time with dragons and Direwolves than people and they call us savages

Speaking of direwolves she is always in awe of them, she heard of the Starks south of the wall and how they had direwolves hundreds of years ago but she thought those were just tales going around because even the wargs can't bond with a direwolf any who tried ended up in the wolf's stomach

Especially the king's direwolf Ghost the wolf is like a Weirdwood tree taken a living form, before leaving the camp the wood witch mother mole told her that the silver prince is the champion of the gods and is their only salvation but she just nodded along then but now she can't deny the possibility

Clearly the people south of the wall don't like us and one of those lords even wanted her and others dead but the king made them understand that they were his guests and now the lords just talk behind their backs, even though the kneelers have pretty strong opinions about us the wildlings they won't dare go against the king,so she has to make sure the king stays on their side

Jon/Aegon pov

With the freefolk moving south and the walkers going north the seven kingdoms will be stable for now, so now I can go meet my aunt in essos

I am already looking forward to meeting her, from what he understands about her aunt is she is woman who would rather take the hard path and do the right thing and take a easy way out, she could have just taken the ships I sent her and come back but she chose to fight for what she believes in

I too am disgusted by the idea of a man owning other man but I was always busy with seven kingdoms and the long night to actually go and do something about it, now that Daenerys is doing something about slavery the least I can do is support her

Even with her dragons and unsullied it's going to be hard for her, the practice of slavery is going on for hundreds of years and whole cities in essos are based on trading slaves, she will have enemies both inside and outside the battlefield

But while I trained and studied to conquer and rule Daenerys didn't but she is doing great on her own, as the say the blood always tells,but as Aemon says a Targaryen alone is a terrible thing, even the dragons sometimes needs a pack to survive

While I am getting ready to go to Essos the freefolk are setting well in the red keep, grandmother is putting those three through the wringer but the freefolk are just like northeners they would rather break than bend,but with this at least they won't do anything stupid in front of the court
