Chapter 1The Fox Princes part 1

They had sent him a doll. That was Asahi's first thought when he first laid eyes on her. It sat quiet and unmoving in his precious rose garden, aligned with those frozen porcelain creations his mother so favored. The doll's back was straight, its delicate hands folded neatly on its lap, and its sweet face was clear of all emotions.

Its hair was elegantly coifed with glistening pearls, a lovely contrast to its raven hue. The doll's eyes were big and round, like newly bloomed violets in spring. Then it had a little button nose and firm pink lips, reminiscent of fresh strawberries in summer.

Had she not blinked when their eyes met, Asahi would have not known. The doll rose, soundless apart from a whisper of silk on skin. She bowed gracefully, her green kimono blended with the grass at their feet. The doll… No, the lady's, for there was no other word to describe her, clasped hands touched her chest as she greeted him, her Emperor.

"May I know your name?" he asked, more than a bit curious.

For who would dare wander in the Jade Palace? Noble or not, it was folly, punishable under ancient law. This place hides dark secrets, many of which should remain thus.

Her pearls sparkled as she straightened, the sleeves of her kimono rippled like waves. She was of short stature, slender and pale compared to him. They were both standing, but the top of her head only reached Asahi's shoulders.

Asahi looked down, but she looked up and effectively stared him in the face. Her gaze was clear and direct, focused on him. A rarity these days, and Asahi appreciated it all the more.

"Greetings, Your Majesty," she said. "My name is Shiori of Kyon, Princess of Foxes and the northern lands. I am pleased to make your acquaintance."

Asahi's brow rose in surprise, masking his emotions was a skill he had yet to master. He inclined his head at her, acknowledging her status. The princess was his subject, yes but he barely outranked her.

"The pleasure is all mine, Princess Shiori," Asahi said and offered her his arm. "May I have the honor of escorting you to the White Pavilion?"

In answer, the princess came closer and brought the scent of pines and roses with her. She touched his sleeve with her fingertips and walked beside him. Their contact was light, almost nonexistent. But Asahi couldn't deny the gentle current of electricity that coursed through him from where they were connected.

He glanced at her, the princess who looked like a doll. Her skin was white as porcelain and her steps were graceful, like a leaf gently swayed by the wind. Out of all the rumors Asahi heard, nothing came close to the truth before him, he thought and couldn't help but remember the day when his curiosity of her began.

Return of the General's Daughter

This is the story of Lara, a young woman from modern times, raised with one purpose: to exact revenge on the family of the general who destroyed her own. But fate had other plans. On her way to carry out her mission of vengeance, a twist in the plan led to disaster. Lara was struck by a military truck escorting the very general she intended to assassinate. When she awoke, she found herself in an entirely different world—one where her identity and purpose were starkly different from the life she had known and how she had been molded to be. Abducted by human traffickers, she outsmarted them and escaped. Then, she encountered a mysterious martial arts master whose ancient skills far surpassed her own. For two years, she trained with him in the remote mountains.  One fateful day, while staying deep in the jungle of Mount Ourea, Lara stumbled upon the Prince of Northem, disguised as an ordinary commander. He was gravely injured while pursuing a notorious group of bandits. Lara saved him and found herself entangled in the war that raged for two years. Lara, disguised as a soldier, volunteered to deliver a very important message to the generals of the Northem army, embroiled in a fierce battle against the bandits, the rebels, and soldiers of Estalis in the Alta-Sierra mountain range. Amid the chaos, Lara was swept onto the battlefield. During the battle, fate played another cruel hand. Lara came face to face with General Odin and his sons—only to discover that General Odin was the spitting image of the general she had been trained to assassinate. Could the man from her world be a descendant of this brave general? Torn between her mission and her newfound reality, Lara faced an impossible question: How could she kill her biological father? Her internal conflict deepened when she uncovered an elaborate plot to frame General Odin and his sons as traitors. The true culprits? His subordinates and trusted allies. In an ironic twist of fate, Lara found herself becoming the 'protector' of the family that, in modern times, she was supposed to ruin. After the war, Lara returned as a hero, ready to reveal her identity to General Odin, but she learned of another betrayal. Her cousin, Mira—the orchestrator of her abduction—had taken over her identity. Mira lived in her home under the guise of comforting Lara's grief-stricken mother because of the death of her only daughter. Not only that, she also did a lot of scheming and eventually claimed Lara's betrothal to Prince Alaric. With her identity stolen and her mission turned upside down, Lara faced a new challenge: reclaiming her life and honor and protecting her new family.

The Princess and Her Rough-Rider Khan

Petite Princess VS Rough Khan On their wedding day, Yelu Yan told Li Xianyun that apart from affection, he could provide her with endless wealth and honor. After the marriage, he indeed kept his promise, cherishing her in the palm of his hand. Little did he know, the more he cherished her, the deeper she burrowed into his heart, right to the very top. Not long after the political marriage with the Khitans, Li Xianyun gradually noticed earth-shattering changes around her: Initially, the commoners who disliked her began to worship her as a deity... The court officials accusing her of bewitching their lord were now pleading with her to consummate the marriage with the Khan... The most perplexing of all was her husband in name; wasn’t he the one who said he wouldn't give her emotional affection? Why was he always following her around? Little theater scene 1: One day, Yelu Yan cornered Li Xianyun against the wall. “Why are you avoiding this Khan?” “They say you might have taken a liking to your servant.” “Remove ‘might’, isn’t it obvious enough from how this Khan acts?” “But you said you wouldn’t give your servant emotional affection.” Yelu Yan held his forehead; he had indeed said too many foolish things. “The Han people always say that one should start a family and then establish a career; clearly, the two are not in conflict.” Little theater scene 2: The sun had risen high, yet Yelu Yan was still clinging to Li Xianyun. “Get up quickly, I have to leave. There are patients on the street waiting for my consultation, the good fields to the west need irrigation, the homestead plots in the east need measuring, and I have to oversee the silk reeling and dyeing... Uh...” “Your husband is a patient, don’t you care for him?” Li Xianyun looked at the man tough enough to rival ten bulls and was utterly speechless.
