The Rose Kingdom

I didn't realize I passed out from everything that had happened since it all went by so quick. Mai was safe and for some reason I couldn't help but think about Aliza.

I could still feel a bit of pain throughout my body but for some reason it wasn't cold around me. I thought I was on the ground since that's the last thing I remember, maybe I'm wrong?

Haru opens his eyes to the sight of Mai sitting by his side, inside of a room that resembled that of an inn. Just as nice as the one they stayed at before.

"I knew you'd be okay. You are one heavy guy to carry all this way though you know." Mai says with a bit of relief in her voice.

"Where are we?" Haru questions while sitting up. He begins to wipe his eyes as he looks around.

"I got us into a room at the inn here. I had to carry you all the way to the kingdom, but it wasn't that far." Mai responds while sitting next to him.
