Strengthening bonds

Once breakfast was finished Kei summoned a chariot for him and Tenshi, they waved bye to everyone and they left for the town. Tenshi marveled at the sight of the town, the town (under the influence of Kei) had started evolving. Kei had taken his knowledge of the modern world and boosted the construction, knowledge, science, and health care of the capital and it was spreading to the whole nation. The military was almost Spartin like. They started using advanced building techniques using metal and technology. Kei also started the enlightenment of philosophy on the kingdom bringing the advancement in the social standings of people, and he started encouraging them to further research magic from a more scientifical point of view. The people saw him as an angelic like figure so when he got off the chariot he was swarmed with people "Your majesty we need help on this" "sire, teach us more about your ways" etc Tenshi went back to her shell mode at the sight of all these people. Kei used his royal power to push everyone back but they still lurked in the shadows. Kei grabbed her hand and led her through the streets, Kei didn't mean anything by it but Tenshi saw it as an act of love. Tenshi grabbed his arm pushing her breasts into him,(EN: cliche) Kei ignores it but some strange rumors started circulating throughout the kingdom about Kei having a second lover… Back at the palace, the kitchen was a mess there was black smoke in the air, flour on the floor, and egg everywhere. Persephone sat on her knees in front of Emma "sorry". Emma looked at her queen, she had flour all over her and her hands were covered in cuts and burns. Emma was about to give up on her but Persephone stood up and grabbed her hands "please please teach me to cook I have to learn". Emma and her staff always cooked for them but Persephone saw cooking as an important part of being a wife (deep down she also wanted it one up Tenshi). Emma removed the charred food from the oven, tied on her apron and said: "let's get to work". The first place Kei took Tenshi was the tailor, the tailor shop had grown exponentially after people found out it was the shop that the King got his clothes. It was now a multi-floor building that had hundreds of costumes, Kei walked in and the owner rushed to him. Kei explained the situation and the tailors took Tenshi as and the owner talked. The tailor said that it would take a few hours so Kei decided to leave and prepare a surprise for her. The tailor's wife was practically foaming at the mouth for the chance to work with someone with Tenshi's looks, she stripped her down and even as powerful as she was Tenshi felt fear. Three hours later Kei walked back into the shop, the tailor's wife (she told him it was Catherine) had him stand before a curtain. She dropped it to reveal Tenshi. She was wearing her trademark white but in a sleeveless dress that went a little past her knees. She had on leather sandals that wrapped around her upper calf and her blond hair was tied back with a pink ribbon. "So what do you think," Catherine asked with enthusiasm. "She looks amazing" Kei reached into his pocket and pulled out a small jewelry box and handed it to her. Tenshi opened the box to see a gold necklace with an angel wing. Her eyes sparkled as she put it on and she ran to Kei and gave him a hug "thank you thank you" Kei hugged her back smiling. The tailor gave him extra sets of clothes for her and rejected payment "you've helped our shop so much it's all the payment I need". Kei and Tenshi arrived back at the castle at sunset Tenshi had more stuff than she could dream of, she had clothes, jewelry, and an amazing master. They walked into the palace and were greeted by a set of maids, "your highness the queen wants you" they took Tenshi away (much to her distress) and led Kei to the kitchen. The dining room was dimly lit by candles and smelled of surprisingly nothing as it was to eat and any smell would interfere, the long table had been replaced with a small one that was also lit by candles. On one end sat Persephone who was separated from him by 2 plates is food. Kei sat down and Emma poured him a glass of red wine, on his plate was a plate of Pezzetti di Cavallo. Persephone stared at him till he took a bite "it's astonishing" she broke into a smile and started eating too. Kei couldn't help but notice the bandages on her hands and realized how much work she put in. They ate, laughed and just enjoyed each other's company. The maids that were watching over Tenshi had their hands full, she had already eaten 3 plates of food and wanted to go see Kei. They tried to keep her entertained but it didn't work, they finally agreed to let her have a bath but they stood guard outside. After dinner they Kei and Persephone headed back to their room but Kei broke off temporarily and went to Tenshi's room. He crept inside and saw her sleeping he sat on her bed and said goodnight. Later that night Kei had night almost as eventful as his honeymoon.
