Chapter 19: Legendary versus Legendary

"Cheers!" Auriel's boisterous shout reverberated all through out the Wrench household. He held his beer mug high along with the other members of the legendary party. Though everyone held a beer mug yet Ms. Castle proudly held her juice up high.

"Can you change your juice with beer?!" Mr. Gustav exclaimed,

"Noooooo!" Ms. Castle proudly raised her juice even higher.

Layla, Auriel's wife, served them food on the table as Auriel Jr. sat on his father's lap.

"Thank you, Layla." Ms. Castle said his gratitude with a smile, Layla replied with hers.

"Daddy. Daddy. Thank you. This is the best day EVAAARR!!" Auriel Jr. Screamed in excitement seeing all the legendary party members in person,

"Of course. For Junior, daddy will do everything! Oh yeah. Show your Ninang your invention, I am sure she would love to see it." Mr. Auriel said, (Ninang means female godparent)

"ahhh!" Auriel Jr. Remembered something as he immediately jumped off his father's lap and into his room as if he is in a hurry.

He burst out with a monkey-like machine in his hand as he raised this so called thing to them.

"I present to you. Wielder Evolution Transforming Integrated Weapon! Or Wetiw for short." Auriel Jr. puffs his chest in confidence,

"It's a monkey?" Mr. Gustav tilted his head in confusion,

"It's not just any monkey. It's initial appearance is based on the national animal of Schrym, the golden chest monkey." Auriel Jr. Replied,

"Hahahaha! My son is so patriotic." Mr. Auriel burst in pride,

"But that specie went extinct due to the Red eye Garuda just recently ago, right?" Mr. Xen said as he looked at Mr. Auriel,

"The government of Schrym still conserved the remaining of the specie in order to keep representing the empire." Layla replied instead who sat beside Mr. Auriel,

"Ahhh."

"What does it do little junior?" Ms. Castle asked,

"This!" Auriel Jr. throws Wetiw to Ms. Castle and due to reflex, she caught it in her hand. Wetiw suddenly transformed into a heavy shield, the same size as the legendary shield she wields. Everyone was caught by surprise seeing this.

"That's my son. LAYLA, THAT'S OUR SON!" Mr. Auriel burst in laughter and pride,

"wow. The weight is heavy but it is perfect for me." Ms. Castle caught dumbfounded,

"whoa. Can I try?" Mr. Gustav grabbed the shielded Wetiw and immediately turned into a pistol,

"That is amazing." Mr. Xen applauded,

"It is still in its prototype but it's great, right?! Wetiw is self upgrading, the longer the user use it, the stronger it becomes. It level up with combat experience. It even have the potential to reach six orb slot. It has the potential to surpass even the legendary weapons, you guys possess." Auriel Jr. beamed a wide smile,

"It could potentially become a god-tier item, it would take time but overtime, maybe after a thousand years, it will become a weapon of legends." Mr. Xen analyzed,

"My shield, the Wall of the lost city, only has 4 slots. And that could even surpass that." Ms. Castle added,

"Junior. Daddy is so proud of you!" Mr. Auriel was about to drop a tear in happiness.

"It's great Junior. This is great." Mr. Gustav exclaimed.

The party in the Wrench household slowly hyped down as Ms. Castle carried dirty plates to the kitchen and helped Layla in washing it.

"Thank you." Layla said her gratitude,

"Junior has so much potential." Ms. Castle said as she wiped the plates to dry,

"Aury said Junior might even surpass him. Junior is making things with just what he has and what his level can do yet it surpasses his expectation." Layla replied,

"You can say that again. And what? His mechanic skills are already too high at his age, he is gifted. I can tell." Ms. Castle added,

"I know..." Layla replied as she went silent.

The awkward atmosphere consume the whole kitchen as Layla sighed in place as she raised her voice in a concerning manner.

"What do you think happened to Will for him to do such things?" She asked,

Ms. Castle stopped his hand from dryng the plate as she stared at nothing for a few moments before regaining her senses back to reality.

"Hmm... I- I- I don't know. I just don't understand why he would do such a thing." She sighed deeply,

"I know I'm not in a place to say but I really hate seeing you guys fight each other. You guys weren't just friends, you were already brothers and sisters. A family." Layla said downcasted,

"And you're part of that too. Haaa. I don't know. He wasn't like this even after Erina died. He just stopped showing up and suddenly became the so called pestilence. I want to understand why he is doing this." Ms. Castle said,

"I do hope everything will be alright." Layla said as she placed her hand on Ms. Castle's shoulder. The both looked at each other worriedly as they both hugged tightly.

Just when the atmosphere was about to become light and cozy, an explosion was heard from outside.

Startled, Ms. Castle looked in the direction of that explosion and the two hurriedly ran outside the house. Ms. Castle opened her inventory and equipped her battle armor as she sprinted outside.

Smokes and fire filled the town as screams and cries can be heard from every corner. A series of explosions ticked in timed interval as the guards on the frontline flew to the skies as they slammed the ground leaving them either injured very heavily, scorched or worst death, some guards moan in pain just to try and stand up.

A spider like thing, about 5 storey high walked towards the legendary party. A man stood still on top of this thing as a familiar looking puppet hanged from his torso.

"Will!" Mr. Gustav called,

"Gustav." The man who seem to be Will Thread said in the opened,

"Is... Is that..." Mr. Xen widened his eyes in shock and confusion,

"ERINA!" Ms. Castle covered her mouth In shock as her eyes widened.

"ROCKET PUNCH!" Mr. Auriel, without any hesitation, ignited his jet boots and entered in his machine like armor and attacked will thread with his armors highest possible thrust imaginable.

As his fist near will thread, a white flashing light glowed around him.

"Heavenly guardian Shield!" A white light in a form of a shield covered the pestilence. Mr. Auriel punched the white emmiting shield. The light exploded as Mr. Auriel flew back to where he came from.

"Hello also Auriel. How's Junior doing?" Will said,

"Fuck Off!" Mr. Auriel slowly stood up from the ground as smokes came from every orifice from his machine armor, he opened his helmet and spit a handful of blood.

"It can't be." Ms. Castle was caught utterly speechless to what just happened as she tried helping Mr. Auriel to stand up,

Three ninja like puppet jumped from out of nowhere and gathered at the foot of the spider puppet.

"what the Fuck, Will? DON'T YOU HAVE ANY CONSCIENCE? USING ERINA'S BODY AND POWER? I'm gonna have to get you killed by my hand." Mr. Gustav angrily said,

"You fucker can't use Erina like that! I am gonna destroy you even if you are my brother." Mr. Auriel angrily exclaimed,

"I do. I am living in guilt all my life but this is a small thing for the betterment of the world, Erina will understand, only she would understand why I have to do this." Will replied

"Why are you doing this Will?" Mr. Xen asked,

"To restore balance, Xen. To restore the balance of the world." He replied,

"Restore balance?! Through destruction, Will?! How is there balance in destruction." Ms. Castle exclaimed,

"A small price to pay for salvation." He replied,

"We won't let you have what you want, Will! You may be our brother but no one can get away with murder and massacre, we will put justice to you." Mr. Gustav shouted as he pulled out his two pistol and continuously fired at Will.

The spider covered Will with one of its leg as it tries to dodge away from the target line. Mr. Xen started the incantation as the flames and embers that covered the town was slowly being absorbed to the magic circle of Mr. Xen.

"Layla. Get Junior Safe!" Ms. Castle said as she jumped in the frontline. A ninja puppet sprinted towards Mr. Xen and was about to cut off his incantation when Ms. Castle shielded him from the blades.

"Red Tower!" Ms. Castle casted her spell and pulled all the aggression towards her, the 3 charging ninja puppets changed target towards Ms. Castle.

"Machine Gun blow!" Mr. Auriel jumped to the 3 ninja puppet and punched them a thousand times until they exploded to smithereens.

The two smiled at each other as they immediately looked at Will and sprinted towards him,

"Lord of Fire, please lend this disciple the wrath of your flames and bursts your embers from the ground, Eruption!" Mr. Xen completed his incantation. A flaming crack opened from below the spider puppet, Will noticed it and jumped backwards off the spider puppet, a burst of lava exploded from below consuming the entire spider puppet,

A he flew backwards, from out of nowhere, Mr. Gustav and Mr. Auriel are already on his side also pacing from his jump,

"Electric Bullets!"

"Shotgun blow!"

Thinking they caught him off guard, immediately casted their skills without giving Will the time, that is what they thought,

"Aluminum Wing Beetle, come out." Will slips a small ball and came out a beetle puppet with spiked back covered him from the blows.

The two grimaced in place having thought they caught him off guard.

"Spiked Carapace!" The spikes of thr beetle extended towards the two and hit them bleeding, they had to retreat back as Mr. Gustav is bleeding and the machine armor of Mr. Auriel got holes.

"Repair!" The machine armor of Mr. Auriel slowly repaired itself and had the wholes covered,

"Pirate Rum!" Mr. Gustav's drank a rum and his wounds slowly smoked and healed, aslo gaining speed and a little dizziness,

As Will landed, he throw another ball and came out a Ancient City Golem.

"Beetle Impale. Golem debris fall." a line of spikes bursts out the ground towards them as the golem lifted a chunk of a house and threw at the back of them,

Noticed this, Ms. Castle and Mr. Auriel run towards the sand ball where Layla and Auriel Junior hidden and was about to shield them from the falling debris.

"String pull!" Will extended multiple string and caught all four of them and pulled them a little closer. Due to this Ms. Castle and Mr. Auriel just got away from the area of the falling debris.

Mr. Auriel tried to free himself from the string but the debris getting closer and closer to them, he bursted his jet at full force, Layla opened a little hole from her sand ball and reached out for Mr. Auriel but the time slows down and slowly the debris smashed both of them into a pulp. Mr. Auriel reached the debris too late and fell to his knees schocked and destroyed.

Everyone opened their mouths in shocked and stupify.

"I'm so sorry." Will muttered in place as a tear fell from his eyes.

Mr. Auriel held the extended hand of Layla, the only remaining tact of their corpse. He couldn't understand what he is feeling, anger, rage, death, kill, melancholy. His emotion swindled around as the blood inside him slowly boiling, rage extended without limit.

Everyone other one looked at Will, dumbfounded.

Couldn't control the devil inside him anymore, Mr. Auriel shouted,

"WILLL!!!!!!!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!!!!!! I'M GONNA HUNT YOUR SOUL AND DEVOUR YOU!!!!!!"
