The Dragon Scale Mirror

"My Queen, there are human soldiers assembling at the base of our mountain they seem to be preparing to attack." The scout said."Then the situation is worse than I feared you inform the Legion I will try to reason with them, hurry!" The queen then watched the scout leave. then mulling over her options, she Decided to go talk to the high king she soared off her perch and flew to the capital. She landed on the open platform and said to the guard "could you bring the high king Ivan to talk? I am afraid something has- hello? Are you listening?" The guard then looked at her with a crazed glare and said "for the high king!" And thrust his spear at her. Surprised she leaped back and said "what are you doing?! Do you have a death wish?!" Not answering the guard advanced on the dragon queen and once again attempted to attack her. She roared and blew fire on the hairs and as the flames engulfed him arrows rained from the sky. Most hit their mark and left the dragon queen mortality wounded, she staggered back and fell over the edge of the platform. With her dying breath she put a column of fire up in the sky reaching for the clouds. Upon hitting the ground she was limp and was dead soldiers immediately swarmed over. the arch-Mage looked at her body with interest from his tower and decided to go and inspect it. Upon arrival he was met with celebration over the dragon's death. He moved through the crowd and when he reached the body he looked over the body and immediately had an idea. Running back inside he quickly went to Ivan and proposed to make him an elegant line of clothing and accessories for him he gladly agreed and said "I am glad she came to us instead of us having to track her down." The arch mage quickly had everything arranged but then he thought "I shall make myself a mirror out of her hide." And thus created the dragon scale mirror. Though something about the mirror was different then the other items. One night the mirror disappeared without a trace.
