Chapter fifty two : the ritual

Heaven Alizah Dianne's pov : 

His father and Lucas were already waiting for us.  "Good, you are here" said King Levi.  I bowed to pay my respect, and he nodded.  "Now let's get this over with" said Eugene. 

Lucas made us stand on a platform. The platform has a phoenix carving on it. On the platform, there is a floating purple stone.  "The both of you should put a drop blood of your blood on that stone" said Lucas. We did as he said. Then the stone began to glow. After  a while the purple stone turned into a jade. Lucas took it and collected energy from it, and transfer it into a bowl of liquid. He then ask Eugene to pour some his blood into it.  Eugene did as he said. Lucas then gave me the drink to drink it.

Well, that was confusing but l can't complain. I just drank it.  It tastes really weird. But l have to admit l feel different after drinking it. Maybe propably if l wasn't the centre of five races it would have taken more effect than this. 

"Do you feel different?" Lucas asked. I nodded, "l feel weird".  He nodded in satisfaction.  "The both of you should shed  your blood on the phoenix" he said. And we did as he said. Then the phoenix carving started glowing. Energy began to radiate from it. It lifted me up and began to enter my body. Until l couldn't take it anymore.  I already have too much energy on my own, how can l handle the phoenix's energy together with mine.

"She can't handle all the energy. Eugene you should help her out" said King Levi. Eugene moved closer and intewine my hands with his. And began to absorb the excess energy until the phoenix stopped giving energy. After all of that, l fell weakly into Eugene's arms.  "Will she be okay ?" He asked, l can hear a hint of worry in his voice.  I'm losing consciousness. 

"That we will know after she wakes up" said Lucas. And with that l submitted to the realm of dreams. 

I found myself walking on lotus pond.The surface of the pond is frozen. Then l look up ahead. There is a large  and gigantic frozen lotus standing gloriously on the pond. When moved closer, l realized that it's closed and hasn't blossomed yet.  I walked towards it and touched it. Then l felt some movement in it. Oh wait, there is...there is someone inside. The figure looks a woman but l can't see who it is. "Who are you? How did you end up in here?" I asked. "Someone sealed me here so that l wouldn't be able to find my mate. Can you please help me? Can you please get me out this shell? I need to tell my mate that l love him. My mate doesn't know that l'm his mate. I have to let him know. Please help me Alizah" the lady in the lotus said.

"Okay, hang on l'll get you out" l said.

I tried to break the lotus, but l couldn't. I used my powers but it didn't have any effect on it. "It won't break but don't worry l'll get you out of there, I promise" l said. I used several other methods but none of them worked. 

"Alizah please try harder" the lady cried. I was about to try again when l felt something watery sprinkled on my face. And l woke up.

It was Lucas who sprinkled a little water  on my face. "How do you feel?" He asked.  "I feel stronger and weak at the same time" l said honestly. 

" It's okay, you will feel better soon. The king wants me to tell you that the announcement is tonight. So you should be ready" said Lucas.  "Okay, got it" l said. 

I stood up and looked at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes have become more golden now and more beautiful. Angel said that she wants me to go shopping with her. If we leave in time, we should be able to come back before the announcement. I'm not the type that likes going out but l'm afraid I'm gonna die of boredom in here if l don't go out once in a while. 

I should go and find her. But l don't know where her room is. Luckily Abigail is coming my way, l'll just ask her.  "Hey Abigail. Can you please take me to princess Angel's room?" 

"With pleasure my lady" she said politely and lead the way. All the maid bowdd to me as passed. After a while, we reached our destination. I thanked Abigail for her help. "The pleasure is mine my queen" she said. I knocked on the door and Hiro
