Maya was silent, to be honest, her heart was still very sore when she remembered what happened this morning, but her heart was also very hurt seeing Marve like this.
Maya let go of her hand, she then woke up Marve slowly. No matter how big her disappointment to Marve is, her love for Marve is much bigger.
She couldn't see Marve crying like this.
"We'd better go home," Maya said quietly after waking Marve up.
She took the first step, her steps slow and looking shaky.
Marve looked at Maya's tiny back, looking fragile and full of pain, making Marve unable to stop cursing himself for all his stupidity.
He quickened her pace, brought him to level with Maya, and slowly embraced her tightly.
Maya didn't budge, her eyes stared straight at the road which was starting to get muddy because the rain had not let up.
