Surfing through reddit

It was another gloomy day in her life. She spent the entire day on the bed,well its not her fault sometimes the field created by the bed is really hard to escape. Let's not start with finding excuses to support our laziness with scientific laws. we are no longer going to talk about how her life was devoid of any excitement. Well boredom was inevitable considering how she was immersed in her studies all the time. But we are in that period of her life where she barely had any motivation to get up from her bed. She was dejected obviously because when you can't do the one thing you enjoyed the most with the same joy life starts to feel meaningless. Incase you're wondering ''where did this unhealthy obsession with studies start in her life?"Mira subconsciously medicated the pain of being unwanted by the people around her by over-achieving. She thought if she gets the best grades,the best degrees then her existence is justified.Initially she started working hard just to please her parents but getting highest of the grade made her feel she has some self-worth.She linked her selfworth to achieving academic success which if not fulfilled made her feel like a complete fiasco. what I want her to know is that her selfworth is a scalar quantity(independent quantity) which must not be determined by some criteria.

Just so that she could feel a little loved she decided to begin a quest to find herself a loving and caring boy. But the mere idea of dating made her pretty anxious considering how terrible her previous experience was.

Chapter-1

Her exams were impending but the feeling of monotony grew so deep inside her that she felt doing anything but studying would help her.She was hugely concerned about her grades but somehow the idea of opening a reddit account at 2 am seemed more convenient to her than trying to concentrate on her books.But could we blame her?

She did not go to reddit with any mindset in-fact she thought she'd mindlessly surf through the meme pages and subscribe to sub-reddits.But maybe destiny had planned something else for her.Reddit seemed extremely boring to her I mean what was she expecting to find there?

She logged out of her account due to the inability to find anything interesting there but she subscribed to a few sub-reddit channel out of all the channels that stood out was "makenew friends"channel.I wonder why she subscribed to that.Whatever the reason was after subscribing to the channel she barely paid any attention to it infact she found the application to hard to operate.Since she didn't have energy at that time she let it slip.
