Chapter 7

      I woke up really early to steal the keys to 'the hole' from Diana, because I wanted to go back down there and find more about the books.

     I gently opened the door to Diana's room and it creaked open a bit, Diana tossed on the bed and I paused in my steps, thinking she would wake up. But after confirming that she was sound asleep, I walked into the room quietly and closed the door gently.

     I stood there thinking of where to start searching when I spotted a drawer close to her bed.

     'Every normal person would keep their keys in a drawer, right' I thought. Well it turns out I was wrong.

     I walked over to the drawer, and opened the first one and found nothing, I opened the second and still found nothing.

I opened the third hoping I was find it there, but nothing was found, and was like, what's the point of putting a drawer in your room, when there's nothing inside it.

      I stood there looking around, wondering where the keys would be, when my eyes landed on Diana's neck. And to my surprise the key was on her neck like a necklace.

      I walked towards her and gently reached for her neck when suddenly, she grabbed my left hand and started mumbling some words.

        I was frightened at first, until I realised that she was just sleep talking. I let her hold my hand while I took the keys off her neck before I gently removed my hand from hers.

        I walked out of the room grinning from ear to ear, before I went to 'the hole' and went down to the small library beneath it.

       I took a lot of books from the shelf and brought it to the reading table at the side of the library. I was trying to find something meaningful in the book, when suddenly, I heard footsteps and voices approaching.

      I didn't know what to do, I knew I wasn't supposed to be here, so I stood up and hid behind a bookshelf.

      I was surprised that people actually came down here. I peeped through a hole between some books to get a glimpse of who was there, and  to my horror it was the principal and Diana.

     Of course they knew about this place, they were the only ones that had the key to 'the hole', but still it was surprising.

I heard them talking about a gemstone and blood moon and unlocking the chosen one.

      Obviously, I had no idea what that meant, but I was curious to know.

      After Diana picked out a book from the shelf, they both left.

I came out and went back to the table and continued looking through the books when I noticed something. All the books had like a moon symbol at the top corner.

      I stood up and went to check all other books on the shelf, and they all had the same symbol. I brought out my phone and took a photo of the symbol and walked out of there feeling tired.

     The only problem is, I still can't read the book because I don't understand the language.

       My only question is, what was in the book Diana and Mrs. Helen came to take? Does it contain what they were talking about?, About the blood moon and a chosen one?.

     I just don't know....
