Chapter 21: Luna's Anger Explodes
"RWWWARRRRRR!!!" The large snake like beast roared. Gala and the group of Luna's allies and family began to strike the powerful creature. Numanag whipped around its tail and wacked them all away with some trouble. Galastrom used a large sword and stabbed the creature in its other eye. It howled and shrieked in pain. It's shriek alone caused the entire group to fall to the ground. Luna and Fafir paused as the large beast was falling to its side.
Once it did the Red Palace in itself was crushed into smithereens. This enraged Fafir so much he went ballistic. He threw Luna like a ragdoll and struck everyone of her allies. But that paled in comparison to what he would do to Numanag.
Fafir floated to the creature and tossed the large worm in the air and continued with a brutal assault of punches each was hard to watch as Numanag itself cried in agony and pain. Fafir swung the beast into the ground and landed with such a force bones could be heard breaking. Numanag howled and retaliated with one final bite to Fafir. Sadly it failed and Fafir ripped the very bone from the creature's body and stabbed it in the head killing it instantly. The creature's body grew limp and faintly spasm before it stopped moving entirely.
Once it stopped Fafir stood up, panting as if he had just finished the biggest workout of his life. All that time he had spent punishing the creature only proved to Luna and everyone else their that Fafir was nothing but a malevolent, evil, horrid, heinous being. The Beast God calmly walked off Numanag's corpse and laughed maniacally. "Heheheh..AHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!! And fo think that YOU GALASTROM almost DIED to that thing. Oh wait YOU DID DIE THE FIRST TIME!! Then Nea had you resurrected. No no this. This will not do..So ALLOW ME TO FIX THAT!!" Fafir charge pushing everyone aside and sending them flying minus Luna who stood in Fafir's way and took his full fury. "Gggaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!" Luna cried as she was flung across the harden ground. Galastrom readied her sworn and attacked avenging the wounded Luna. Each attack she could muster did absolutely nothing to him. All it did was anger him more and more.
"What a joke. And they called YOU a legendary heroine? What a letdown." Fafir said as he kicked the grey woman in her side and caused her to spew up blood. The woman struggled to raise up her body. Everything felt heavy at the moment. Fafir stomped her head into the ground and easily swatted everyone else's attacks like they were nothing.
His power and strength were unparalleled. Luna knew this was going to end badly. "Let me show you why your little feeble attempts to stop me are absolutely pointless. I am going to usher in a NEW era and I WILL succeed. Not you nor anyone else will end it for me. Prepare for the end!!" Fafir exclaimed as he used his Lightning Bind technique once again. This time even Luna was trapped. Only difference was her bonds started to electrocute her while everyone else's squished them like that of a snake. Fafir levitated in the air and increase the pressure further. So much you could hear bones cracking.
"See. This what you get when you try to defy my destiny. Funny I have a daughter by the same name and YET. She's been a very naughty GIRL!!" Fafir said electrocuting Destiny and squeezing her binds more. "Gaaaaahhhhhhh!!" Destiny screamed. Luna was face first on the ground. Her body trembled as she saw all of those who were her allies scream and were in sheer agony. The girl tried to move her body but couldn't. It was almost like it was completely numb and stop working all together.
"No..No..I cannot afford to let them die..not because of me..I just need to get up!" Luna thought. She still couldn't move yet she could feel her arms twitch but even then that wasn't enough.
"COME ONNNN...NO. FAFIRRRRRR!!!" The girl exclaimed. Her body fell limp and she laid her head flat onto the ground. Fafir noticed and landed next to her. He placed one foot on her head and smiled mocking her and her attempts to even stand to her feet.
"Let's not forget YOU out of all people. While your allies and family are slowly dying they cry out for their saviour but here is the problem. She will never come. I should have done away with you the first time I saw you. YOU WERE WEAK,FOOLISH, AFRAID AND BLIND!!" Fafir said as he increase his weight to further smush Luna's head in the ground. Then he realized something. "Hmm hehehe. That sounds like quite a idea,but it won't matter. Your not even worth crippling. Worthless trash." Fafir said in disgust. He kick the girl to her back and grabbed her by her head and made her watch as her friends and family were suffering.
"All of this happened because of YOU. You just HADDDD to act out as the HERO of Nea's prophecy. Tsk tsk. Such a shame. My own daughter was fooled by her and look at he now. She followed that fool and now she will follow her into a GRAVE!" Fafir exclaimed as he punched Luna in the face. His fists felt heavy and she was too tired and weak to defend. She had two swollen black eyes and bruises all over her body. Fafir threw her hard into the ground and removed her head.
"Time for some fun hehehe." The Beast God said as he used her head as a soccer ball. Each kick led her head either crashing into a rock, Fafir's foot, or her own weaken body. More blood trickled down her face as Fafir caught her head and reattached it.
"Cough..cough..cough...oooohhh" Luna moan as she was in pain. Fafir crouched to one knee and smack her on the butt. "You could've been my queen like I originally planned. Yet you had to throw it all away. Now look at you." He paused for a moment an just stared into her eyes. "Barely conscious and almost knocking on death's door. Pitiful and here I was hoping you'd finally give me a challenge. Why else do you think I spared you after all those times hmm?" Fafir asked a dazed and tired Luna. Her hearing and vision were phasing in and out. Luna couldn't help but cry and feel completely guilty.
"I..let them all die...Momma,Papa, Azou,Destiny,Grandma Umi,Grandma Elena,Everyone and worst of all...I let down Silvia. I'm so sorry."Luna said as tears streamed down her cheeks. "..I couldn't stop him." Luna thought. She closed her swollen eyes and rested. "HEY ASSWIPE!!" A female voice said getting Fafir's attention. Luna awoke and saw Silvia of all people running towards Fafir and swinging a sword at the Beast God. "Leave HER ALONE!! FIGHT ME INSTEAD!!" Silvia yelled as she charged towards Fafir.
He effortlessly blocked each attack and broke it into a thousand pieces. Fafir grabbed the girl by her neck at a insane speed and threaten to snap her neck like a twig.
"You. I don't think we met. No matter. I'll crush a pathetic worm like you without even trying. Prepare to die!!" Fafir said as he summoned a unholy amount of his Lightning Bind. Now his entire right fist was wrapped around with it. All it took was one punch and the white haired girl was done.
"FAFIR NO!!!!" Luna screamed as she successfully launched Fafir off her head. However the deadly punch landed and Silvia was severely injured. Part of her face was burnt and there were horrible markings all across the left side of her body. Her clothes were in tatters and this caused Fafir a great deal of joy.
"Oh my..that is some impressive power I wield hehehahaha. If you could have easily knock me off my balance then perhaps that girl wouldn't be harmed now would she?" Fafir said as he mocked the concerned Luna.
She rushed to Silvia's side and checked for a heartbeat. "Honey!! Baby please!! Wake up! wake up!! WAKE UP!!" The purple girl yelled. No response as was the case with the rest of her friends and family. They however slowly came to as Fafir loosened the binds and thought they were dead.
"Hahaha! Too weak to keep up now are you little one?" The man questioned as he turned to see a upset Luna sitting next to Silvia. She was there holding her hand and weeping uncontrollably.
" How pitiful. But I suppose your family is no different,no? You can cry all you want. I offered you my mercy yet you denied me several times and now you and the rest of those who follow must suffer. Just like this pathetic girl here. She didn't have to die, yet she did. And it was all your..FAULT!!" Fafir said angrying Luna to the point she punched him so hard he was slammed into a nearby tree.
The ground started to shake and the entire planet shook at the girl's insane power. Her fists clenched even past the point her fingernails dug unto her hands causing her to bleed.
The sky itself formed thunder and lightning, insane hurricane like winds also began to surge. As she held the limp Silvia in her hands. Luna blamed herself and wailed and lamented. Her cries were so loud they echoed all across the planet.
Everyone was shocked and horrified by such a scene.
"What is going on?!" Yunago shouted from behind her friends as they stood in disbelief. The entire world was shaking as if it was about to collapse.
"This world is collapsing and it happens to be at it's breaking point. Well Luna that is..get everyone away from here on the doubl-" Before Psion could finish his sentence,a deafening explosion of sorts erupted from where Luna was at. Silvia's body was sent flying high into the sky and Gala flew to carry her. She took her to get her wounds treated immediately. The whole crew hid behind a mighty mountain and they watch a blinding white light engulf the whole sky.
"I..incredible..I..I'm not even sure what to make of this but..something is happening." Destiny said. The rest of the Luna's friends and family and in fact people all over Neo watched in awe. No words were exchanged. Not even Fafir knew what to due.
"I kill one of your friends and you throw a temper tantrum? So ungrateful. TIME FOR YOUR DEMI-!!" Fafir yelled as he was flung into the debris of the Red Palace. He quickly rose from the rubble and was caught in a terrifyingly massive second explosion. This time no one knew what was happening.
"Lunaaaaaa!!" Azou yelled. She brush past her family and friends to get to her younger sister bit her father stopped her. " I'll FUCKING KILL YOU FAFIR!!" She angrily yelled.
She tried to break free but her father wouldn't let her. The group looked at a massive beam of light. They were confused and surprised. It soon formed into a colossal pillar.
"I..it's so beautiful. That pillar of light..It's orange. I think I see something." Ember shouted as she could sort of make out a figure standing in the smoke and debris. Silvia was healed enough to fully awake and witness this creature for herself.
Happy as can be Nea smiled. Once the smoke cleared they all saw something. Fafir included, witness for the very first time. The being standing before him seemed unreal.
"W..what? W..who are you? What happened to Luna?" He asked.
