THE FINAL BATTLE (21)

Abby looked up the sky, while holding her newborn. She had this bad omen ever since she saw the black rain started pouring down and the sky became so dark. She knew for sure that this had something to do with Decratic and Iris.

"Ssh… Ssh…" Abby rocked her baby that started crying, as if she could feel her concern. "It's okay, Bielle, it's okay."

From the corridor, loud footsteps echoed and not long after there was a knock on her door. It was Aliana. She entered the room even before Abby allowed her to come.

"This is not good," Aliana said.

"I know." Abby thought Aliana was talking about the black rain and the dark sky, but actually, there was something worse than that.

"The red smoke from the poisonous miasma spread around. It's expanded. It will reach here soon."

Abby's blue eyes hardened. She rushed out of the room with the crying baby in her arms. "How much time we have?"
