Ariel Mackenzie is a tough and resilient woman who has always put her son, Jason, first, she could even go up the sky and pluck the moon for him. But when the assassin organization she works for demands the head of Jason's father, Vincent, Ariel is faced with a difficult decision, should she risk her future relationship her child, or save it by not completing the mission, which has dire consequences. Going back to her hometown did not only open up old wounds but it created new ones, secrets that were meant to be kept in the dark were brought to light, betrayals were made and and some relationships were broken.
After Vincent left, Ariel comfortably brought out her phone and read the message that the director sent.
"You let Jason out without his mask, allowed Vincent to see him like that and also donate blood to him, that aside you tortured a man nearly half to death just because he hit your son, is this the job i sent you for? And why isn't Vincent dead, you said it will be done by last night." The director was obviously furious at the fact that Vincent was still alive, especially when he might of have informed the clients about his eminent death at the ball last night.
At the moment, Ariel was having mixed feelings, feeling grateful that Vincent did not die or else he wouldn't have been able to donate to Jason and at the same time, she felt remorseful that she didn't complete her mission.
