"Record"

"Select skill - [Divinator]" said Artis.

'What the hell! Only 28%? I thought this skill was a simple skill! I can't do anything with this skill if I only have 28% of the understanding. Was I wrong with my analyzing? Or did that person told me something else entirely!?' He sighed in disappointment, "Well, what's done is done. At least I can do something with this skill."

[Record]. One of the many Unique Skill possessed by Artis. This skill allowed him to analyze and copy skills of any other person he interacts with the understanding of the skill he currently has. The Skill copied can range from learning [Swordsmanship] to skills like [Flame Conjuring] or [Teleportation].

The only downside of the Skill is, the understanding of the Skill remains the same for him if he completed his analyzing no matter how much he understands it. To increase his understanding, he will have to 'delete' the skill and reanalyze the skill again by talking to the said owner again. In special circumstances, if the Unique Skill itself evolves, the skills copied understanding and level will also increase.

"But then again, only 28%," Artis sighed as he looked up at the ceiling analyzing and clearing his thoughts even further, "Then again, perhaps it was my mistake to assume it was only a simple skill. Then again, as a Magician, I've learned that you don't reveal your secrets so easily. Divination is not as simple as I think it is. I might study about that skill later but for now...Open Skill- [Divinator]"

A clear screen appeared in front of Artis which showed in detail of the Unique Skill [Divinator]

[The Skill allows you to divine subject's past, present or the future. It also allows you to learn any knowledge of any particular item you want to know or search for someone you want to find.]

[Powers you can use- Tarot Reading, Dream Divination]

[Warning: Due to low understanding of [Divinator], You can only use this skill once every 24 hours]

Artis read the detail of the skill as he frowned a little, "Once a day? That's such a bummer! I wonder how many times that guy can use if I only got one use every 24 hours."

"Dream Divination? What's that?" Artis asked as he said, "Detail- Dream Divination"

The screen shifted, displaying new information.

[Dream Divination: This power allows the user to enter the dreams of others and observe insights or messages. By accessing the dream realm, the user can uncover subconscious thoughts, fears, desires, and potential future events as perceived by the dreamer.]

Artis raised his eyebrows, reading the information twice, "That's a Psychic Class skill for sure. The ability to enter dreams of other but only you can enter and do nothing else. This skill is not made for combat based but support based, instead. Interesting."

Just at that moment, the door to his cabin opened and entered his elder sister, Alice Janes who just returned from having her lunch.

Alice saw Artis sitting at the couch and warmly smiled asking, "Done with listening to the orchestra? How was it?"

Artis looked at the door and replied coolly, "It was interesting for sure. The orchestra was definitely the best part about it, But the next performance was a bit sloppy and I wasn't interested in seeing a Dance so I left." Explained Artis, "Anyways, forget about me, how did your meeting go? Did you get any answers?"

"Oh, it went just fine. You know the usual, and guess what? The role has been finalized. Your sister is now a Director in the Dreams Enterprises! Isn't that wonderful?" Alice answered cheerfully as she got her hands close to her chest holding it tightly.

"Oh, I see. Good for you, Sis," replied Artis shrugging his shoulders.

"Hey!" began Alice, frowning, "At the very least, show some interest to what your elder sister is saying! I don't want to think I'm just talking to a wall!"

"But, I'm happy for you! I can't stop smiling at all!" replied Artis forcing himself to smile.

"You cheeky little brat!" began Alice, her voice rising, "Oh...You're purposefully making me angry aren't you? You want to Record my Skill again!? Hah!"

"Busted..." mumbled Artis turning his head away from Alice.

Just at that very moment, Artis felt a heavy chop fall on his head causing Artis to bit his tongue in pain. Alice used one of her Quick Skill [Flash Step] to hurt Artis a little bit as he rubbed his head in annoyance and made eye contact with Alice who seemed to be smirking at the pain she caused.

"Hah! You are still 10 years too early to make me use my skill, little brother! Just focus on developing your [Record] and other skills you have developed over time. Then again," she paused before smirking again, "I bet you already copied someone's skill over time and just want to show off. Go for it, tell me which skill you recorded?"

Artis rubbed his head, in annoyance as he sighed and replied, "You got me, Sis." He admitted, "Sure, this time, I copied the skill [Divinator]. It allows me to divine anyone's past, present or future. But my only downside is I can only use this skill once a day."

"Hmmm," Alice nodded in understanding, "I see. This skill allows you to learn about the future. That's a pretty great skill. Hey, why don't you use that skill on me? I want to know about my future?"

"Huh?" questioned Artis, surprised, "But, I can only use this skill once! That is pretty much useless for me, as I rely on tricks more."

"Just because you think it's useless, doesn't mean that it got no use itself. Remember this, every Unique Skill is a gift, even if it seems limited at first. You never know when it might come in handy," Alice said, her tone serious despite the playful twinkle in her eyes. "Besides, I'm your sister. Don't you want to know what the future holds for me?"

"Alright! Fine!", he relented with a small smile, "But, don't blame if you don't like what you want to hear. Do you have a deck of Tarot cards?"

"Of course, I do!" Alice replied grinning, "I always carry it as a lucky deck. You never know when you might need it."

"Only you carry such useless stuff and call it lucky." mumbled Artis.

"Hmm? Did you say something? Why do I want to hit you all of a sudden?"

"Nothing, Elder Sister. You're just imagining things." replied Artis grinning as he shuffled the Major Arcana card.

"Select skill- Divinator!" said Artis as his blue eyes lost its colour as he focused his spirituality in the tarot card making contact with Alice.

"What do you want to know? Past, Present or Future?" asked Artis.

"Hmmm, I want to know what my Present holds." Replied Alice, a hint of curiosity visible in her eyes.

Artis placed down the Major Arcana cards down as he said, "Pick up any card and flip it over. I'll decipher the meaning on my own."

Alice nodded, as she randomly picked a card and flipped it over.

The Hermit!

"The Hermit," Artis murmured, his voice low and contemplative. "This card represents introspection, solitude, and guidance from within. It suggests a period of self-reflection and seeking inner wisdom."

Alice listened intently, her curiosity piqued by Artis's interpretation.

"In your present," Artis continued, "The Hermit indicates that you may be in a phase of introspection, seeking answers within yourself rather than relying on external influences. It suggests a time of inner growth and spiritual development, where you may find clarity and direction by turning inward."

Alice nodded thoughtfully, absorbing Artis's words. "That's... interesting," she remarked, "That gives me a lot to think about, Thank you Artis."

Artis blue eyes got its colour back as he looked up smiling, "The Hermit reminds us that sometimes, the answers we seek are already within us. It's just a matter of quieting the external noise and listening to our inner voice."

Alice nodded, "Well, now that that's settled with, let's go have our lunch. It's already too late."

Artis acknowledged the suggestion as he stood up and prepared himself. As they both left the room to greet themselves in a bustling hallways where the children seemed to be running around.

Making sure, they don't crash, they made their way to the 7th floor again and visited the main dining area.

Just as they were making their way to the lunch area, Artis noticed a strange person who was wearing a black dress carrying a large wooden box in his arms as he talked to one of the lady passengers with red hair who seemed to be signaling him where to keep this box.

Feeling strange, Artis ignored them and made his way to the dining hall.
