Catfight

"Woosh", I dodged the attack, it nearly hit me and if this powerful attack would have landed on my fragile body without magic, I would be heavily injured, no matter what.

I am facing this lady again, ( my dear childhood friend: Veny), who came only to talk to me again just to get Orion. Yeah, the idiotic prince.

Looking at her blonde hair, green without, she is rather pretty, but she is a beauty without a brain. She has been trailing Orion for a long time, but for naught.

He never showed interest in her. She belongs to those types of people who have no brain and forget everything easily.

Her element is also the exact opposite, the water element the most beneficial and scary at the same time. Sending another water ball I got another shower today.

"What the hell, Venya?", I stared at her confused from her actions and angry at the same time.

"You! you dare to act innocent!!", she sent fist towards me, what's wrong with this stupid girl, now.

"What are you talking about? Tell me!", I shouted angrily.

"You dare to agree to marry Orion when you know that I love him," she shouted, clearing all the questions on my mind.

"WHAT? It is not my choice, and this is not what I want as well!!" staring at her,  I continued, "Ask that traitor or the bastard you love! don't come to me without knowing the truth!"

"I know the truth! you are after him to get the princess status back! Aren't you?", glaring at me, trying to accuse me without knowing anything.

"Really? You think I will marry; my father's murderer to only get princess status!" what is wrong with her? Did she lose her mind or what?

"Who knows, I know the proud you, who never bothered about anything." what pride? What is bothering her?  Especially when I am a maid now, and the maid of my father's killer at that!

"It doesn't mean that I will marry the killer of my father!" Am I supposed to argue with this spoilt girl now?

"Hahaha! of course!" she pushed slightly to give me a smirk, "You will do anything, after all, you are cursed! your whole existence is cursed!''.

"Venya! Do you think it is easy for me? To become a maid to my father's killer!" I felt really painful, she even insulted me like that… sigh.

"Then why are you still here? To give them your love, to marry him? Explain now!", still shouting, she doesn't care about anyone's feelings. Is she still my friend?

"No!! I better die than to  marry your pathetic lover, I am the one forced to marry him!" I was on the verge of crying.

"Oh, really? Then reject this marriage, easy", what? Am I talking to a stone without a brain, now?

" Yeah, talking is too easy," glaring at her, my face burning from anger, I am afraid tears will start to fall from my eyes any time. Looking at her aggressively, I said, " As if they will let me live after that?"

"Who cares if you live or die? Powerless muggle of blood, you nothing?" her voice runged in my ears, I knew long ago that I have no friends but I never expected this day to come.

"I am muggle, then what are you? A leech!" I lost my control over my anger and shouted at her.

"What did you say? I fare you to say that again!" She looked at me with fire in her eyes.

"You were with me when I was a princess but you left me instantly when I became a maid, even Ashley is better than you! A leech!" I said in a provocative tone to make her even angrier.

"You are only a gold digger, you little faker! You only want to be a princess again!" I feel really sad now, *drop*, what is this? Am I starting to cry now? I can't hold myself anymore. 

"No! *sob*  I want my family back *sob* not power!" I shouted while still sobbing and tears fell like rain on the dry land.

I shivered from sobbing, making me remember all those sweet memories with my father and brother. I lost track of time again, losing myself in thoughts but the voice of water woke me up. 

When I looked around to see, I was trapped in a water bubble. Oh, no! She will drown me to death, someone please save me?

But who will save this pathetic me? The one who lost everything, her family, her father and the status, the one who has no one to cares about, me.*sob*

I am drowning. It looks like it's time to meet mom and dad. Brother take care of yourself, my vision is blurring, at least I will now be free from this disgusting world. 

'Whoosh!'

Suddenly, before I lost consciousness, I saw a yellow light. Huh, is this the color of death?  then my body was filled with heat and energy. 

'Ahh, too hot!' I cried in my head, unbearable heat,  making me toss and turn. 'Death is like that?' I thought but the heat made me open my eyes to see Demonica using a weird spell on me.

I saw a weird glow around her,  as she noticed my eyes, her glow was gone as if it was never there. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would have thought it was all my imagination.

'Huh? Did not father tell me that only a person with high power can see someone's glow' a thought rang inside my head but no one to answer?

'Does this mean I got the power? Impossible! Selena, you are daydreaming again' told to myself while trying not to daydream again. 

I looked around to see Venya's half body was pinning on the wall of a corner of the room. The blood was dripping from her orifices. Her mouth was full of blood and she was coughing now and then, the blood was dripping from her ears and nose while still half-conscious.

'Cough! Cough!', I coughed loudly, to get rid of the water that entered my mouth which was suffocating me.

But the water looked condensed making me more worried as if the source of magic was depleting forcefully, it looked like the person who used it was badly injured or even cripled.

I turned to look at Demonica who had an emotionless face then shouted at me "You can't take care of yourself when I am not around!"

"I am sorry, madam", I looked towards the ground and apologized, why even she is shouting at me, I can't look into her eyes.

"You better be", turning her sleeves around to leave.

"-----" I stared at her and she noticed my stare.

"Speak already," she asked languidly.

"Um… madam, what happened to Venya?" asked somewhat confused, I never saw or heard anyone in her state.

"Ah? nothing, I blocked her power for a while. Ao, she is powerless for now", But I didn't understand. So I raised one eyebrow up. 

"Sigh... she is simply without magic like you. Umm.. for a while", 'WHAT?you can do that to? Stealing someone's most precious thing in the Arzeilla. 

I continued thinking more,'blocking her power? But could it be' my body shooked, ' no one in the entire kingdom has that power except the magic queen or king and a few old generals with ancestor power, how the hell can she have that power? Or maybe that book is not authentic' my thoughts started to run wild.

Now, I am really terrified for my life from Demonica who looks calm but furious like a dragon from the inside. Yeah, especially like krai, 'Oh, krai my dragon, I miss you a lot, I hope you are alright.

Ahh!! that reminds me about the secret no one knows, except royals. Well, every royal family has a dragon, different in kind too, our family for example for strong fairies with the royal bloodline can have by luck a hybrid, fire and earth dragon or in another word magma type.

He is the symbol of our kingdom. Fire shows our bravery and fearlessness as for the earth, it shows our love for this kingdom's citizens. 

A dragon is a soul mate of the new heir, my brother as a strong fairy who has the royal bloodline, with a stroke of fate, he got a dragon to the hybrid (Magnam)

What is the most frustrating thing is that a princess can't have one, what's more, muggle blood like me. yet for some weird reason, I have a dragon of my own! Furthermore, a dragon without any element. No one heard of this occurrence before, yes that is (krai) my dragon.

'Clap!' with a small clap, a high shook was made by Demonica, she used it to wake me to get out of my daydream. I could write a novel about my daydreams… sigh.

"Did you hear what I have said?" she stared at me and I became scared instantly by the gaze of this scary lady.

"I-I am sorry. " I replied worriedly, why am I like this in front of this lady?

"Sigh… Go sleep! you got no duties for a week anyway," she said like her usual commanding tone.

'WHAT? Why am I free?' Suddenly I wanted to ask her but before I could say anything, she left the room while dragging Venya along. 

With a wave of her hand, she did something or a spell particularly and the floor was clean in a blink.

'Huh, what? it's impossible! I must be dreaming' I rubbed my eyes and saw it was real. Suddenly, everything started to replay. I cried myself to sleep again but this time something weird happened. 

I was transported to somewhere like another world 'Aii... Is it again some kind of dream?' I thought and turned around only to see someone was standing while her back towards me.       

I looked towards her in shock and asked with a worried face, "Excuse me, who are you?"
