C262: Dysfunction

Dande watched Fur poured her a tea.

"This is from Ain. He said that the avocado tea will help you relax. It will calm your thoughts."

Dande gulped a small amount.

She continued to habe her sip till it sooth jer throat.

"This really helps." Dande stated.

Fur smiled as the triplets roam around the house to investigate.

Kahieli checked the living room and kitchen. Sycamore made it the bath room and toilet. Nimrod checked every room and the triplets reported to found none.

When Dande finally fall asleep. Sycamore held her hand to steal a glance from her past.

The team headed toward the old building seen by Dande.

"This is the old building of nursery. It was rumoured before that the previous teacher committed suicide when her husband filed a divorce." Fur stated.

"Yes, I saw a woman weeping and instantly our teacher started crying. She was taking in her tears." Sycamore stated.

"I see. So the teacher take in the tears and not the sadness." Ain stated as Urchin and Ole appeared with him.

"And how about the shop?" Fur asked.

"Kish, Agsus and Cherith is there." Ain replied.

"This is troublesome since they went through same reason but the ghost had a deeper hunting." Ain pointed.

"Yep. Well that was according to the rumours. We don't know the truth. This is the school that I went to so is with Dande but some student were saying that they were hearing things but it got dismissed as byword." Fur explained.

"I don't think that the woman was crying. She was faking a cry." Sycamore added.

"Then the ghost was jealous of tears or the ghost was absorbing the tears." Urchin stated.

"No, maybe because she was unable to cry back then." Ole aired.

Kahieli agreed as the atmosphere dropped.

"I did not invite you here. Why are you here little pipsqueaks?" The woman squealed.

"Just wondering." Ain replied.

"But classes are done." The woman beamed.

"Yeah that is why I said we are just wondering." Ain recited.

"I see then would you escort yourselves out here. Especially you!" The woman pointed.

"I don't think so." Ain responded.

"You are like him. You won't listen but will just stab me eventually." The woman accused.

"Don't you dare compare me to your husband who forgot your vow." Ain pointed with sarcasm.

The woman started to scream and was devoured by another monster. Her form became a man in his classic attire holding a vase.

"This spirit is useless as well. Now who disgraced my pet?" The man boldly intervene

"So your a demon that take advantage a lowly one eh?" Ain notified.

"Now, you smell familiar. Lightning and space." The demon named.

"You've gone way back." Ain scolded.

"Ah then you are from that era. The era where everything ended." The man said.

"Stop recollecting and give back the fruit of betrayal which you stole." Ain warned.

Fur got guarded by Kahieli and Urchin.

Ole started by using her own bones. Her arms grew an arc of blade as she charge in with prayer.

"Our God who heal us with goodness, love mercy and sacrifice. Your the main fighter in this combat. Use me as your sword to purge such darkness. Amen."

She heared the faint step on the wind. She knew where the man was heading. She disappeared mid way and appeared right in front of the enemy.

The man used his vase to counter the Ole's attack but Ole used her arms to distract him as she used her heel with small bone knife to stab his neck. Ole swiftly defeated the enemy and muttured.

"You should never deny any person to experience their own sadness because it worst than going through without it."

Sycamore caught the vase but the collected tears and fruit of betrayal were in the enemy's hat. Nimrod used his coin to secure it as Urchin and Kahieli sealed. They again successfully regain one feather.

Ole stared at the disappearing pieces of the enemy and professed with anguish.

"I wonder if those who were not given the chance to wept can still do it. Because if not I will gladly do it for them."

Ain step beside her and ruffled her hair and complimented.

"You have got your father's wisdom and your mother's kindness. And as a girl you have a heart full of goodness."

Ole looked up and grinned.

"And you smell more than lightning, space and size. You smell like a bachelor forever."

Ain started chasing her out of the building as he yelled.

"Stop rubbing salt unto my wound you cheeky brats!"

Dande woke up feeling suddenly hurt. Her heart is wailing from the betrayal she went through. She's been crying the few day but it was all an empty tears. Her heart sink as it got drowned from the fountain of letting go. After crying she can now smile truly and gladly.

"Yes Dande, You are better than this. You are amazing woman. It does not matter since when. But you will get better." She muttured in encouragement.

Fur called on later on.

"So how are you. Did you switch back on your cougar mode?"

Dande furiously pressed the end button.

When her inbox recieve another message.

"I am glad to have you back. OLD FRIEND."

Dande chuckled at the thought that Fur never changed despite their age difference. He remain a good friend.

Dande get back to school in teaching the nursery kids. She often stare at blank at the space wandering who that woman might be that she met at the old building near the park. The triplets approach her and gave her a potted flower of Iris.

"We planted it to cheer you up." Nimrod said as he smiled cutely.

"Thank you. And with that on your way back home. I will treat you to a place where I love to eat." Dande promised.

On their way home they entered a cozy restaurant with fried and toasted aura.

The banner behold.

"Unlimited chicken butt."

The triplets just smiled sideways not knowing if it's a good thing to eat with their teacher.
