Memories

After using the note, the pair found themselves transported to the Beacon hills. Drake and Ciri found themselves standing in front of a chrome black custom Ford Mustang GT. Drake found the keys in his hand, alongside another set and a letter, addressed to him.

He opened the car doors and they got in. He opened the letter and began to read.

-

Dear Drake,

In your hands, you'll find the key to the mustang in front of you. I decided to go with a car that fits your character, Pfft see what I did there, character, get it? Anyway, I figured you'd need one, can't have you running everywhere, well unless you want to.

Now the other set is for the new house I got for you and Ciri. It's close to Stiles and the sheriff but big enough, so even if it's 'PACKed' (Wink, wink) it still won't feel crowded. You already know the location, I put it in your mind (I'm so great, right?). It also backs out onto the forest where Malia spends most of her time. I hope you enjoy it. Have a fun life.

Loads of love,

Momma Death

P.S

I've dropped you off 2 weeks before the story starts so you can get used to everything.

-

Reading through the letter, he couldn't help but feel conflicting emotions. He wanted to laugh at the ridiculousness of Death, but at the same time, he was feeling sad because he may never see her again. That thought looped around his mind. Ciri noticed his fluctuating emotions and hugged him, calming the emotional wolf.

Mind now calmed, Drake started the car and headed for their new home.

The drive took them 15 minutes. They arrived and stood staring at their new 'house'

"House, she said." Drake spoke sarcastically before pointing up at their home. Before them stood the biggest house he'd ever seen.

"That is a bloody mansion. It's got electric gates for crying out loud. A lacrosse field and a basketball and tennis court. Oh, yeah it's got a fully fitted gym and swimming pool too, not forgetting the dojo and fully stocked garage just to finish it off." Drake facepalmed, while Ciri shrugged.

"It's nice, I like it." She grabbed his hand and dragged him through the front door and up the stairs.

"Now, let's choose our bedroom." He nodded dumbly and followed.

-

What Drake didn't know was that Death had barely had to change anything. His requests actually coincided perfectly with his original timeline, if he hadn't fallen through the tear made by the exploding universe.

Memories of Stiles and the Sheriff

-

It was a bad day for Noah 'The sheriff' Stilinski. He'd just received a call from the station reporting two deaths called in by a child. The child, his godson, Drake.

Reporting to the scene, he found the house filled with his deputies and CSI's. He made his way to the scene of the crime, the kitchen. The scene before him upset him greatly. On the floor lay the bodies of Astrid and Michael, his best friends. Their bodies lay beaten and bruised, yet their faces untouched.

Eyes scanning the bodies, Noah quickly came to the conclusion, his friends were tortured. He felt rage burn through his body as his blood boiled, wanting to find and destroy whoever had done this to his friends, no, to his family.

'Family.' He thought.

'Drake!' His mind pulled itself out of its rage as he remembered his Godson. He began searching the house, only to find him sitting on the ground in the backyard, stroking what appeared to be a big black wolf. The wolf's eyes narrowed as it saw Noah approach. A growl resonated into the surroundings, the wolf's muscles tensing, ready to attack. Noah reached for his gun, only to stop when a small hand dropped onto the wolf's head. The growling stopped.

A small voice spoke.

"That's enough Lia, Uncle Noah won't hurt me." The wolf grumbled but settled her head back in his lap. Noah never could figure out how Drake always knew he was there or his strange ability to somehow befriend dangerous animals. Astrid and Michael always acted like it was normal, so he'd choose to ignore it.

"Drake, are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Noah asked, concerned.

"I'm fine Uncle Noah. I was out in the forest playing with Lia. When I came back, they were already gone and my Mom and Dad were well, I'm sure you've already seen them."

A 4-year-old Drake replied, holding his tears back. Sensing his sadness, the wolf nuzzled into him trying to comfort him. Noah didn't know what to say, letting the wolf comfort Drake.

"What will happen to me, uncle? Where will I live? Who'll look after me?" Tears formed again in the corners of Drake's eyes.

Noah walked up to Drake ignoring the wolf's growl, and wrapped an arm around him. Noah spoke, reassuring him.

"That's not something you need to worry about. I always promised your Mom and Dad that if anything ever happened to them, Claudia and I would take you in. Besides, I'm sure Stiles will be excited to finally have a brother." Drake nodded.

-

Two weeks passed.

Drake's parents' will was read.

In it, it stated that they wished for Drake to be adopted by their oldest and closest friend, Noah stilinski. Noah just nodded, he was going to do that anyway.

Everything was left to Drake, who would be allowed to access it with the permission of Noah only until he reached the age of 16. Then he would be able to access it whenever he wanted.

Noah was left a few things by them, along with a substantial amount of money to help with Drake's expenses and to pay off any debts they had and a letter, thanking him for being their most trusted and best friend and for looking after their son, after they were gone.

After the will was read Noah quickly got to adopting Drake, it didn't take long as Astrid and Michael had already prepared everything in advance, just in case. By the end of the week, Drake was officially adopted. He was now the son of Noah 'The sheriff' Stilinski.

Stiles was thrilled about having a brother, though the first time he'd met his new brother, he'd gotten quite intimidated. From what his father had told him, his new brother was a month younger than him, but upon meeting him, Stiles couldn't quite believe what his father had told him. Four-year-old Drake was built unlike an average four-year-old. At four years old he stood at a solid 4 foot and was already showing a fairly well-muscled physique, unlike most four-year-olds, who were around 3 foot tall and barely carried any substantial muscle growth.

He soon got over it though, when Drake offered they play together. They decided to go to the park together, which was a short walk from the Stilinski house. They were enjoying themselves until a group of older children decided it would be fun to pick on stiles, they'd failed to realize that Drake was with him.

Seeing the group try to bully his new brother, Drake took action, beating the older kids into the sand, literally. Stiles, seeing his brother beating the bullies, couldn't help but compare Drake to the superheroes in his comics.

Their parents never found out what happened in the park. Drake and Stiles kept it a secret but that one incident formed the foundation for them as brothers and that bond only grew as they grew older.

Time went by, Stiles and Drake started school. Unfortunately, the two had to attend different schools because there wasn't enough space for them to be placed together.

At school, Stiles never spoke of his brother. This continued through middle school. No one, not even his best friend, Scott McCall knew he had a brother.

Drake was very much the same as Stiles. No one knew he had a brother, well they did but it wasn't Stiles. In the first year of Elementary school, Drake had discovered that one of his classmates had gone missing during a class walk in the forest. Instead of telling a teacher, he went searching himself. Knowing the forest well, after all of the playing with Lia, he'd done. He quickly found his classmate. One Jackson Whittemore, who was currently sitting against a tree, bloodied, bruised and with a broken ankle. Apparently, he'd got lost from the group and tripped, breaking his ankle, cutting his hands and scraping his knees.

He approached the kid, told him he'd be alright, picked him up on his back and made his way back to the class. When he returned, he was scolded by the teacher but once he filled her in on what happened, she praised him. After that day Jackson took to calling him, his big brother, much to the amusement of Drake, despite Jackson being older than him.

Derek

-

A few weeks after Drake's parents' deaths.

-

For a few weeks, Derek had noticed his mother acting strangely, though the rest of his family hadn't seemed to. Sneaking out the house at odd hours in the afternoon and not returning for hours, smelling overpoweringly of nature when she returned.

One of the days, he caught her sneaking off but this time decided to follow. His mother was around 600 meters away from the house when she transformed into her full wolf form. Black fur and red eyes glowed. She shot off at a speed Derek was having serious trouble keeping up with.

He'd been running for a good 15 minutes at full speed before he lost sight of her. Having no other choice he stopped and began to track her scent. 30 minutes later he found her, and what he found shocked him.

His mother in her wolf form cuddled into and being stroked by a child no older than 4 or 5 maybe. What was weirder was the collection of animals that lay in the surroundings of the two.

He'd spotted deer, rabbits and a mountain lion so far and more were converging as he watched. What wasn't known to Derek, was that the pair already knew he was there. Talia, Derek's mother, spoke telepathically.

"It would appear that my son followed me, little one."

"It's fine, Lia." Drake answered back.

"We can't let him find out what you are, my little dragon." Drake smiled at Talia's nickname for him.

"What shall I do, Lia?" Talia thought.

"Call him over, but you might want to make sure, kitten over there doesn't attack him." Referring to the huge mountain lion.

"Oii, I know you're there, come out." Drake shouted, trusting Talia's judgment.

Derek froze, not knowing what to do. He chose to step out from behind the cover of the tree. Kitten lazily looked at Derek before laying by Drake protectively.

"What can I do for you, stranger?" Drake asked Derek.

"Haven't your parents told you not to play with dangerous animals, kid?" Derek speaks, his cockiness showing through.

"No, unfortunately, my Mom and Dad were murdered a few weeks ago." Drake, stated coldly. Derek realized he'd put his foot in it when Talia growled.

"Look kid, I didn't know…" Drake cuts him off.

".. what did you want anyway?"

"I just came to warn you that there were wild animals out here, but apparently that's not a problem." Pointing toward the animals surrounding Drake.

"... and that this is private property." Derek stated.

That was the start of a very antagonistic relationship between Drake and Derek. This went on for a few weeks until one day, Derek found Drake crying over a picture of his recently departed parents. Taking pity on the child, Derek tried to comfort the child, bringing him to his family home to meet his family.

Talia found this secretly hilarious as Drake already knew her in both wolf and human forms. He quickly became a regular visitor in the Hale home and a regular tormentor of Peter much to everyone's joy.

Derek and Drake became close, Derek coming to see Drake as his younger sibling and Drake seeing Derek as an annoying older brother. Drake was close to Derek's younger sister Cora, many a time had Talia returned to the living room to find Cora curled up by Drake, asleep.

Years went by.

Drake was leaving Beacon Hills soon to attend a special school abroad much to his family and friends' displeasure.

-

A few months before Kate Argent appeared in Beacon hills.

-

After saying his goodbyes to Hales and to Jackson, the Stilinski's made their way to the airport. At the airport, he said his goodbyes to Noah and Stiles. It had been a rough year for the trio after the death of Stiles's mom but they'd all grown closer because of it.

Drake looked at his adopted father and his brother and spoke.

"Look after each other, alright? Be careful, I'm only a call away if you need me."

"We know son." Noah smiled and chuckled.

".. People would think you're the adult in this relationship." Stiles just stood there sadly. Tears in his eyes. Drake hugged him and said his goodbyes.

"Bye Dad. Bye Bro."

He waved to the duo before disappearing onto the plane.

-

After picking a bedroom with Ciri, Drake had fallen asleep. Only to wake up with tears in his eyes after having his memories played like a movie.

This world's Drake and the Drake who had fallen through the tear had merged. Memories, knowledge, experiences, the lot. Drake looked around and for the first time, felt like he belonged. He'd changed a lot, compared to the Drake of this and his previous world. Drake was now bigger, stronger, and much more intelligent due to his experiences in his previous world. Thankfully, he hadn't been home in a while, so people would think most of his changes were because of puberty. He wasn't going to meet Stiles or the sheriff before the story started. He wanted to surprise Stiles at school. He was meeting Jackson in a week, but before then he had places to go and people to pay his respects to, namely, Claudia, his adopted mother, and the Hale family, specifically Talia.

-

A week before the story started

-

Jackson had never been more excited for a school year to start. He was the lacrosse captain. He had the most gorgeous girl, in the whole school, as his girlfriend and two days ago he was told by his brother in all but blood, that he would be attending beacon hills high school with him.

Now he was waiting in the middle of a parking lot, late in the evening for said person to arrive. Waiting with him was his girlfriend, Lydia, who till now, had never seen her boyfriend quite so excited.

They'd been waiting there for about half an hour. The darkness of the night had already fallen, when a low bassy voice rumbled around them.

"Well, well, well if it isn't my darling little brother." The voice sounding jovial.

Glowing golden eyes moved toward them through the darkness. The person said eyes belonged to finally came into view.

A giant of a man.

Now Jackson wasn't by any means small, standing at a reasonable 5 foot 9 for a 16-year-old but the boy, no, the man before them dwarfed Jackson by a huge amount, standing at solid 6 foot 5; A smile plastered across his face.

"Hello, Jackson." The Giant spoke, his tone gentle.

"Hello Drake, It's been awhile." Jackson smiles and looks up. His voice filled with amusement, when he says sarcastically.

"I see you've shrunk." Drake's booming laughter filled the parking lot. He pulled Jackson into a big bear hug, lifting him off the ground before returning him to the floor not long after.

Lydia was shocked by what she saw.

Her boyfriend.

The cold arrogant jock.

The guy who was cold to even his parents was currently laughing and making jokes with a man she didn't know.

It almost brought tears to her eyes seeing Jackson filled with such warmth. A warmth she, his girlfriend, was seeing for the first time herself.

Drake's eyes wandered towards Lydia, he smiled.

"And who's this little girl?" Jackson turned to his girlfriend and smiled.

"Lydia, I'd like you to meet my brother, Drake. Don't let his size fool you, he's a big softy for cute things that are smaller than him." Jackson laughed at his introduction. He turned to Drake who was playfully glaring at him.

"Drake, I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Lydia." Drake looked toward her with a look of pity and spoke.

"You poor baby." Wrapping Lydia in his arms.

"Why would you punish yourself like this? Must be hell having to put up with him." Jackson threw a punch at Drake.

"Hey, I'm not that bad." He shouted. Drake smirked.

"Nahh, you're worse." Jackson immediately started chasing Drake around the parking lot. Drake just ran off laughing, eventually allowing Jackson to catch him.

Jackson threw another punch playfully right at Drake's jaw. The punch made contact, a dull thud could be heard, followed shortly after by Jackson's swearing.

"Holy shit, what are you made of?"

Though the punch wasn't hard, it still hurts when you punch solid concrete afterall. Jackson shook his hand trying to alleviate the pain. Drake laughed.

"Not my fault you're such a delicate princess."

"At least I'm pretty enough to pull it off." Jackson snarked back.

"And you're proud of that?" Drake couldn't hold it any longer and began howling with laughter. Jackson followed shortly after. The laughter died down.

"I'm glad you're back, Drake." Jackson spoke honestly. Drake's eyes turned to him. The immaturity in them, fading, becoming a mix of maturity, pride, power, and love, a look Jackson recognized from when they were younger.

"It's good to be back, lil bro." Ruffling Jackson's hair.

-

Lydia's POV

-

Hearing the voice and seeing glowing golden eyes appear in the dark made Lydia feel a little apprehensive. Seeing them moving toward her didn't exactly make her feel safe, but what appeared out of the darkness surprised her. A giant of a man, clearly who they were waiting for from the smile on Jackson's face.

They began chatting with each other for a while until the man spoke to her.

"And who's this little girl?"

Normally Lydia would be offended being called a 'little girl' but coming from this giant of a man, it felt almost natural. When Jackson introduced her as his girlfriend, Drake, the giant wrapped his arms around her

Normally, she would've pushed the person away but she'd noticed three things. First, how strong Drake was. She could literally feel the rippling muscles against her. The second thing she noticed was that despite her being in Drake's arms, Jackson showed absolutely no jealousy. This shocked her because if any other guy even looked at her funny, let alone hugged her all hell would break loose.

The third and final thing she noticed and possibly the most important, was how comfortable she felt being with Drake and in Drake's arms. She felt like a little girl again, being held by her father; a feeling she'd missed since her father had left. Though there was another feeling she felt, the feeling of herself being drawn to him, the feeling of safety. Drake released her soon after to avoid a punch thrown by Jackson. Much to her annoyance, but she couldn't exactly complain.

Watching Jackson interact with Drake was a strange experience for Lydia.

The way he spoke to Jackson in a teasing yet caring tone, sounded very much like how a much older sibling would talk to their younger sibling. The weirdest part was Jackson wasn't bothered by it and appeared to like it if his laughter was anything to go by.

Drake was an anomaly for Lydia. He played around with Jackson in a manner not befitting his size or appearance. Running away like a child, laughing at the fact he'd called Jackson a princess, the fact that he'd agreed made it just a little funnier.

Lydia found herself smiling at the pair playing around until Jackson caught up to Drake. It didn't escape Lydia's notice that Drake had slowed down to allow Jackson to catch him. Lost in thought she heard a dull thud, followed by Jackson's swearing. He'd punched Drake in the jaw. Drake hadn't moved or flinched making Lydia curious at what sort of person could be punched and not be affected. Their playtime had ended. She heard Jackson speak, his voice filled with heartfelt honesty.

"I'm glad you're back, Drake."

Lydia's eyes shot to Drake and saw his change. Gone was the child playing with his brother, standing there now, a man of unfathomable strength and maturity. His eyes glowed with pride and love as he ruffled Jackson's hair. Lydia's curiosity was piqued. Drake was a mystery and she wanted to find out all of his secrets.

-

Back to the story

-

A short while had passed by, the trio were now in a local diner ordering food, mainly because Drake was hungry 'As always' Thought Jackson.

"Drake?" Jackson asked.

"Hmm?" Drake hummed while looking at the menu.

"Where's Ciri?" That piqued Lydia's attention. Drake answered without looking up from the menu.

"She's dealing with things at home. Don't worry, you'll see her at school." Jackson hummed. Curiosity got the best of Lydia.

"Who's Ciri?" Drake looked up for the first time since he'd picked his menu up and answered without missing a beat.

"My partner in crime." To which Jackson laughed.

"Sounds about right." Lydia was smart enough not to ask further, despite how much she wanted to.

The rest of the time they spent there, they chatted about school. Lydia told Drake what to expect, telling him to steer clear of certain girls, more out of her own jealousy than any real reason. Jackson laughed and told her that Drake wouldn't have to worry about that. Drake also told her a little about himself, while asking her a few things about herself. She was happy that a handsome and intelligent guy was talking to her without hitting on her for a change, though she wouldn't have minded if he did. This did however make her more curious as to why someone like this would decide to move back to beacon hills. He was a mystery to her.

After eating, they went their separate ways, agreeing to see each other at school the following week.
