Due to him also being a person so unimportant to the storyline, the system literally doesn't even try to change his actions since he basically has one to two lines in the entire game. It's also due to this reason that he can do almost anything he wants as long as he doesn't deviate from the storyline, which will cause a reset if he does, or interact with or mess with the main cast, antagonists, or anyone who's not a shadow person.
